Everyone is welcome to take part, no membership or licences are needed to join in these events so no reason not to have a go! Loads of spot prizes aswell so you don't have to be a comp winner to maybe win a prize! You can either download the entry form and send it off with a cheque, or you can enter and pay on-line - check out the Events page on http://www.biketrialuk.co.uk Organised by the Crowthorne Cycle Trial Club, it should be a really good event! Hope to see you all there.

  5. Glad everyone enjoyed it! The results could even be found on http://www.biketrialuk.co.uk/Events.htm I've just finished a HUGE pile of laundry from Fort William. A lot of really nice tops, sweatshirts etc were left for me at control - thanks everyone! Now if you want to claim them back, let me know what's yours!!! And whoever pinched 6 of the midge nets, can we have them back for next year please! Hope to see you all at Barrow Farm on 1st July. Barbara
  6. The first round of the UCI World Cup kicked off today in Aalter (Belgium) with the 20" and 26" Quarter Finals. There will be two British riders in the 26" Semi-Finals, with Andrei Burton finishing in 3rd place on 11 points and Jack Carthy qualifying in first place with an incredible score of just 1 point! Dave Kerr finished in 19th place, just missing out on a Semi-Finals place, and Scott Wilson finished in 40th place. The full results from the 26" Quarter Finals, with details of who qualified for tomorrow's Semis are available here: Results. Not sure when the 20" results will be published (they may already have been and I just can't find them), but I know that Vincent Hermance qualified first on 17 ahead of Felix Heller (21) and Ion Areitio (29), and that no there were no British riders riding in the Quarter Finals. Results of the coming Semi-Final, Final and Super Final will probably be posted on the event's official Facebook page, on the Live Results page and on the World Cup website. Kenny Belaey's also done a great job of securing media coverage of the event and you can watch the Super Finals live at 13:45 on Sunday at the following sites: www.lifetv.be: LIVE coverage of the 26” Super Final www.sporza.be: LIVE coverage of the 26” Super Final www.extreme.com: 1 hour of live coverage of the 26” Super Final I won't be able to watch it unfortunately (stupid family events!) so if anyone is able to record it somehow and post it here so people can watch it after the fact I, and I'm sure a lot of other people, would be extremely grateful! Anyway, I'm sure you'll all join me in wiching Jack and Andrei the very best of luck for the Semi-Finals tomorrow (and hopefully the Finals and Super-Finals on Sunday!). Keep it up lads!

  8. Thanks for posting Dave. Looking forward to seeing you all there! One week to go before the entry has to close, don't forget to complete yours in advance to ensure your free entry passes to the bigger UCI World Downhill Championship event! Entries can be made on the Events page of our website. It will be a brilliant trial, with loads of other cycling events going, trade stands etc... There's a great atmosphere and a chance to get on the big stage for the podium! Not to mention the prize goody-bags being donated by section-sponsor Hope. Well worth the journey to Fort William!
  9. Results are now on-line, well done to all. Brilliant day, great weather, great riding, great atmosphere - thanks to everyone.
  10. Helpers needed at Blackpool! Check out the website www.biketrialuk.co.uk for details
  11. Been on a site visit today, everything's looking good, even found a couple of people getting some sneaky practice in! Don't forget to get your entries in, closing date next week! Roll on 6th May.
  12. Glad to hear it! I take it you mean licences etc.? No bother, you don't need any licences or affiliations for Biketrial Federation events, just enter and ride! You can enter online and pay by PayPal, or download and print the entry form and send it by post. Both options are available on the Events Page, here. The cost of £20 for pre-entries made online or by post and £25 for entries after the deadline or on the day. Pre-entering is a massive help for us (saves us having to process your forms, punchcards, number plate, etc. on the day) and cheaper for you, so if you can, I'd really recommend it. It's really easy to do as well! There are classes for everyone from complete beginners to top Elite riders, including women's and senior classes, so there's really something for everyone! See you there!
  13. As you are all no doubt aware, the second round of the British Trials Cup will be held on Sunday 6th May in Blackpool. With the sections set along the famous 'Moon Rocks', hundreds of spectators and Britain's top trials riders competing for the podium spots, it'll be an unmissable and spectacular event! You can enter online and pay by PayPal, or download and print the entry form and send it by post. Both options are available on the Events Page, here. The cost of £20 for pre-entries made online or by post and £25 for entries after the deadline or on the day. No licences or affiliations are required to take part, just enter and ride! Anyone can enter, and with classes from primary to Elite (including a women's class and a senior class), riders of all levels will be able to take part and have fun! Hope to see loads of you there!
  14. There are 3 girls who regularly compete, although not at every round. Donna Fox, Nadine Staniforth, Katy Rankin. And there's even a "Ladies" class now so you're not competing against the lads! Go on, give it a go!
  15. Not if you do it properly and enter in advance - saves you money! Enter from here And you get much more out of it than just a ride down the prom!
  16. Click here to place your vote for the competition winner - closing date for votes 31st March. Many thanks to the series sponsor funding the riding shirt project.
  17. Hi everyone Glad that everyone seemed to enjoy the trial yesterday. Shame about the rain before the start causing the mud, but at least the rest of the day stayed dry for us! Great to see so many of you there, and especially so many new faces. The results are now on the website and pictures should follow soon. Quite a few retirements due to broken bike parts, but thankfully no major injuries this year! See you all (and more) at Blackpool - but please do your entries in advance. Barbara
  18. Hi Ali (and everyone who hasn't entered yet) I have about 20 blank entry forms with me - just in case someone turns up that needs one! Would be good to see you there Ali. As Jed says, the Elite classes have changed this year - there are now 3 classes to chose from, I'm sure you'll be fine in Elite, and yes you can still ride in there. See you all tomorrow ... it's not raining here either (yet)! Barbara
  19. Officially Monday was the closing date, but I don't actually take it off-line until I've completed all the paperwork ... just to give the late-comers a last chance! Entry WILL close on-line at about 6.00pm tomorrow - THURSDAY - as I leave home to set off down there early on Friday morning. If you're planning on coming, pre-entry would be most helpful; but as a last resort you can enter on the day for an additional £5 fee for late entry. Hope to see everyone there!
  20. Sorry, I don't understand? What won't let you edit it? The entry form just has boxes to fill in - are you clicking on the right link in there? Try this - just fill in the boxes and as soon as you click on the "enter event" button it sends your entry in to me. Then send the entry fee by PayPal by clicking on the Buy now button on here Failing everything, you can enter on the day but it will cost you £5 extra!
