Which Is Best Street Or Natural Riding?
steve@banbury-trials replied to *BOOTHY*'s topic in Beginners Trials Chat
i think trials is split up for to many reasons its all the same really wether you ride a 20/24 or 26 ,or have a seat or not ,or ride street or natural . trials is a small sport and shouldn't be chopped up anymore, its just silly -
Newby To Start Riding
steve@banbury-trials replied to findy camera man!'s topic in Beginners Trials Chat
welcome to the trials scene a mod bike (20 and 19 inch wheeled bikes) apparently are easyest to start of on ,as there flicable and small and used more often than not for natural riding (rocks, roots and other stuff similar to these). whereas stocks (26 inch wheeled )bikes are larger but have a greater potential upgrade spectrum as you could pick components from other mountion bike diserplins for your bike . have a look at tartybikes.co.uk at there bikes ,great range and great prices hope this was of some help, steve -

What Do Boosters Actually Do
steve@banbury-trials replied to trials wannabe's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
hi have you noticed on some bikes with rim brakes when the rear brake is pulled the frame flexes outwards under the power of the brake?this is called frame flex this is why people fit booster as it reduces/stops flexing ,which results in increased brake power and modulation hope i make sense ,lol some bikes come with built in boosters e.g zoo pitbulls -
i read somewhere on trials forum that the saracen wasn't very good ,if i was gonna get a mod i'd go for a onza probably have a look on tarty as they got a great range of bikes
