normal sprockets will fit, and yes; leaving 3 cogs off a standard cassette is an option, but it'd be far easier to go single speed. If possible try to get a wide-based cog as these resist digging into the freehub body

i guess you mean spares aren't available for this caliper? erm, i think its a tektro IO disk brake....have a mosey over to halfords with your pads and see if you can find a match...post a pic of the pad up here and ill do my best to tell you where you can get some new ones from / what they are

yep, only 3 ball bearings in a bb5 and 7....the only differnece between the two is the outer pad adjust knob + shape of pads ( which makes no real difference anyway )
