    yep...its his old frame
  3. Yep, it should only take around 5mins per wheel I think it looks pretty cool, ill probably do it on the woodstock when i can be bothered
  4. ^^ Whatever dude...i cant make up my mind so im for an opinion.... If you've got nothing to contribute to this thread..why bother posting? I think my thread mirrors to an extent one of yours!: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....c=48954&hl= ^^ "Its YOUR bike, you have what YOU like" ^^
  5. right .... im not sure....as im putting a front freewheel on it...i cant really try it with green and see what people think as its a bitch to get freewheels off so ive bought some mr. muscle...and i think that'll be my weekend project, as i cant ride for a week or two
  6. what can white fade to?! Looks pretty nice...im thinking green n white in my wheels....will probably look gash...but worth a try
  7. but it would offer less hold.... a dual piston setup is better...end of...at least for hold anyway. the only reason for multi pot disc brakes is to try and decrease the risk of the brakes boiling..something to do with increased surface area.
  8. very nice, didnt realise this echo was yours, tom....looks very nice, tempted to build up my woodstock similar to that
  9. would be pointless...you'd need a far bigger master cylinder...the pistons would never hit at the same time...therefore only being as powerful as the ones that hit the rim first
  10. damn straight...stick a maggy on if you've got one and ride!!
  11. welcome to the forum....er...an on-one gimp isnt the ideal platform for building a trials bike..as its steel and not amzing geometry for trials. If you wait a little whil you'll be validated and can pick up a cheap fairly modern stock frame ( 26" ) for around £50
  12. who's building it for you? http://www.wheelpro.co.uk/spokecalc/ or http://www.dtswiss.com/
  13. maguras over anything....amazing modulation on smooth rim, no modulation with cousts and a grind....brilliant!
  14. yep..so basically large master piston=less power... So these levers will make your brakes LESS POWERFUL
  15. erm....rear magura with some form of decent pads, eno freewheel and my pitbull frame...everything else was phone ...i think
  16. doesnt seem to be that great for the money to be honest...why should i ditch my trusty piggy in favour of this?
  17. no, he definitely did not try and break them...im cool with the guy... its fine, just annoyed at how easily they snapped though
  18. yeah but im a tolerant kinda guy...he owned up to it; said sorry and offered to help replace them...cant say fairer than that to be honest...just a bit pissed that they did snap in the first place!
  19. Basically...was riding on saturday in plmyouth all day...then went up tot eh skate park and was attemjpting to ride a bit of park...let all the bmxers have a go as usual, then this one bloke went off for a lil while and when he came back my steerer was snapped clean off the forks...."really sorry mate" sh*t....he volunteered to pay £20 towards some new ones...which isnt bad i suppose...just abit annoyed and suprised that he broke...he said he wasw only doing an endo m but how true that is id ont know... Im not a nasher really, im only 10st and i can only drop around 6ft so im not really hard on my components! Anyway...does anyone know of some senssible replacemnts for them? I really like the length of the koxx's(420mm) as they gave my 04 pitbulla nice (35mm ) bb rise. They need to be maggie mount, light and strong, stock
