  1. Ill give you a pair of koxx reds and £5(or a subway to the value of)....
  2. http://www.sheldonbrown.com/gears/ Have a look at that^ for example...a typical stock gearing would be 26" wheel, 170mm cranks, 18t front cog, 16t rear that gives you 29.7 GI ( gearinches) Normal mod gearing is usually 18:12 or 18:13 although one of my friends who's a begginer runs 20:18 which is a joke to be honest
  3. or you could just adjust the limit screws inwards to hold the mech A lot of cheaper cassettes dont have allen key bolts...so have a browse throught the wiki...its best just to use a locked out mech and a peoper single speed spacer and cog kit like this: http://tiny.cc/DMR
  4. ill swap you a pair of koxx reds for your cranks?
  5. my thoughts exactly...just try out both..although i would have though that a stock ( 26" ) would suit you better leave the text talk to msn please .....
  6. pretty cool pictures...is that an 04 pitbull i spy?

i was gonna buy that bad-boy! kinda glad i didnt with the falred head tube...looks cool though, especially in white
  8. hi, as said before there are a few more "senior" members on here...great to see such a varied mix of people getting into trials as well
  9. Hi, as you live in plymouth might i suggest you come along for the march 1st plymouth ride? you can try out some bikes and get to know some local riders...theres about 10 of us going and we're meeting at copthorne hotel at around 10.30 on saturday
  10. first of all...use the search function ; theres been loads of topics on this... try these: http://tiny.cc/MV6xH or http://tiny.cc/g1ORx or http://tiny.cc/lx6AU or http://tiny.cc/NiCcV << this ones meant for smaller riders, which may not be suitable or http://tiny.cc/Gn5JJ The onza t-pro is widely regarded as one of the best value starter mods available at the moment. The yabaa range ( by french giant koxx ) is set to give onza a run for its money, and are very competitively specced. The best thing you can do, however, is to trawl through ebay...loads of bargains come up there, ot get yourself validated on this forum and look at the classifieds section
  11. well, its a good idea having the saracen trials bikes there...as it allows people to see trials bikes in the flesh...makes buying easier etc, however i cant really see the point of having big brands like koxx there, as anyone that wants to spend that kind of money on a bike usually knows what they are doing, therefore look on the internet or go to a good LBS. I suppose having the cheap yabaa's there ( koxx's cheaper sub-brand ) wouldn't be a bad idea, and onza might want to look into it as well
  12. a mod bike has geometry that is designed around a standard mod fork....the reason for the long forks is to have a front end height around that of a stock ( with the mahoosive stem ) so pulling the bike onto the back wheel is far easier
  13. stay with maguras!!! discs are more trouble than they're worth and vees aren't that amazing..
  14. i was thinking of doing the same thing....
  15. nice video boys...vast improvement on jammys first vid!
  16. Erm....meeting so many new people has to be pretty high up there but... i did a 7 and a bit foot gap on saturday with a one pallet height ( 2 pallets to one pallet ) and i was rather chuffed.....
  17. noipe, its all very vague to say the least at the moment
  18. so whats the general concensus...is saturday better?
  19. yeah, theres a fair few of us around..especially on saturdays
  20. anyone else for the march the 2nd ride?
  21. friggin massive riding!..seriously amazing
  22. haha...damn straight...especially as most of the people that have put stuff like : KIK IS HED IN !!11!!!!!11 are pretty young...and most likely wouldnt be able to take a (taking a guess here at 30 year old?) bloke!
