  1. The Hi-Fi are the same as the team, with a massive great CNC'd crown. I think they weigh in at around 1.1kgs? The control are completely different, with no cnc'd lump on them, they're more similar to phase or Koxx forks in their shape. They're around 850gr.
  2. Music was spot-on...and the line at 3mins was mint Extremely nice style too....
  3. In what way is that dodgy? Just some heatsink Vee-daptors Odd set-up...mix of some pretty heavy parts and some very lightweight. Looks good though

    Schwalbe!?

Rich Pearson had a Big betty and that was pretty damn good, if a little thin on the sidewall. The grip seemed to be around that of an ST maxxis I think, but slightly less than a Conti in black chilli
  5. Front freewheel or rear freehub...either will work with the right set-up. Rear freewheel is only a good idea if you're on a really tight budget I think
  6. From having a bash on one or two inspireds...and using my zoot for a while I'd say don't do it.... they're very cramped, and I found it pretty hard to get anywhere near the level of riding I could attain on my Koxx But that's just my experience.....I'm sure Ali C will be in here shortly to tell you how versatile a frame the Inspired is.
  7. Supposedly they're a right b*****d to fit too.....no noticeable improvement in performance to warrant their fitting. A braided hose would be far more effective to stop crossovers dying
  8. My bad.. I don't ride mod, just going off what was said on OTN
  9. The zoot and urban aren't massively different Geo wise....I'd personally stick with it or go for something with a reasonable difference ride wise if it were me
  10. Guy on OTN posted some pics up of a new try-all mod tyre....around 300g lighter than the previous one - so now around the eagle claw weight. Apparently they're working on a stock one too Actual topic
  11. What do you want though? Fixed or freehub? If it were me I'd go for the Rockman BUB or a king if freehub
  12. Same...takes fekin ages when you don't have a proper trials bike or anyone to learn off
  13. Nicely done Rich....I really think that will go some way to explaining what trials is to a fair few people and liek you said raising awareness and helping people understand we're not all mindless vandals that we seemed to be normally branded as
  14. Rally want to go to this after I had problems getting to my potential first comp ( Hampshire ) Has anyone got any videos or pics of the course or an idea of roughly what is involved?
  15. ace man I'll definitely be riding Monday / Tuesday, staying in Faversham so near to that as possible really
  16. As above really, coming up to Kent for a few days...anyone fancy coming and riding with me? I'll be brining me camera so maybe get some shit filmed Add me to msn if you're up for it... alexdark2@hotmail.co.uk
  17. That's Clear packing tape normally...for the weight savingz
  18. BB yoke nearly finished....needs polishing and slotting Chainstays are bent, and one has been polished up ready for welding
  19. Tru that... Just ride it around a bit, maybe chuck some water on to get rid of the iron oxide build up. If the rotor is visibly pitted, a replacement would be your best bet
  20. There is a small grub screw with a 2mm hex head on the lever, on the inside near the handlebar. At least there should be
  21. Tnn LGM or coustsinks...both work great with a vee
  22. Guess he had't heard of Tartybikes...
