  1. Mine arrived yesterday so had a wee spin around on it in the evening at the skate park. As has been said I wouldn't suggest putting pegs on it, the axles really don't look like they are up to the task. I've bent a few BMX axles that look a lot beefier than those. The brakes on them are fine, I don't see the need to upgrade them any time soon. They feel solid and hold pretty well with the pads that came on it. A bit of time spent setting them up properly and you will be supirsed how nice they feel. The Bar and stem combo on them isn't too bad, stem could be a little higher but thats being overally picky. I'm 6ft and felt perfectly comfortable on it, if you're a little shorter you could always loose the stacker to get the front down a wee bit, but I reckon you'd be fine. Overall impression of the bike from yesterday is really good, I'm very impressed with how solid and quality it feels considering the price. It felt perfectly at home pumping round the skate park, while still feeling comfortable when it turns into a pogo stick. For a 24", the weight is really good, to the extent that I was amazed how light it felt when riding it.
  2. Not yet, it feels pretty nice as a standard spec bike. Might change a few bits in time.
  3. The brakes will feel ok when they are setup. In fairness, even setup as they are (which is really badly) they hold well and feel pretty solid. Might upgrade them in time but no rush. Only had a wee roll around in the road, looking forward to the weekend to give it a proper go.
  4. Bought this as a bit of a piss-about, fed up of taking trials too seriously. Wanted to take it aaaaaaall back to 1999; on a 2010 bike, of course.
  5. DMR sidekick Echo ES3 Brisa B26D Echo Pure (as said before, amazing bike) Another Echo Pure (so good I had 2!)
  6. Yes I've been getting the same over the last few days or so. Emails are coming through but about 2-3 hours later.
  7. I always just ran the standard washer / backplate that you take off when you remove the circlip. A washer would do the same job though
  8. You need to take the circlip off the back where it bolts onto the frame, then remove the spring from in there. Bolt it onto the hanger then use a piece of old cable, pull it through until the mech is aligned and tighten it up. If you need any fine adjustments, you can still use the barrel adjuster to help out.
  9. add me to msn - andy_nbr@hotmail.com.

  10. Here's to hoping the chav in question tried to do a skid and pulled a handfull of front brake due to your backwards levers... Shall keep an eye around here for you dude.
  11. We'll be there. Hannahs ankle is dead though.
  12. Yes it is true, when I was running a Rockman hub, the rotor actually rubbed against the chainstay. Since going to a profile disc hub, I've got about 2mm.
  13. Yeah both Hannah and I have got this also. I get a popup saying it's from Skype.
  14. We were out riding one day when someone randomer came up to him and said "Your names Dave!!" Pretty much stuck from then...
  15. Nah, I can't remember the Viz rims ever coming with round holes. All the ones I've ever seen have hexagonal holes.
  16. And Daddy got rich from selling drugs...It's the perfect crime, hide a drug factory in the back of your son's trials warehouse.
  17. Agreed, that other thing was horrible.
  18. Almost as good as the woman I saw earlier riding along with her helmet on backwards. The peak goes at the back right... for aerodynamics?
  19. No because its the last hampshire comp at Hut Hill and you should be going to that instead
  20. When watching the video yesterday, it looks like the bit flying off is the peak of his helmet.
