    Was Browsing

probably becasue most people think of street as Holroyd type stuff? with huuuge drops? dunno really  lol
  5. i like it  would look better with less pink though! ^_^
  6. ditto  but i think you should wait until she is 16 (Y)
  7. ....but it's gonna be pissing it down now! (Y) hopefully thurday should be better
  8. i say 8" as far as i know, only the HFX-9 xc brakes are available with 6" rotors and they are not the best choice for trials. HFX-9 DH mk2 is the best option (Y)
  9. ah, cheers for that (Y) anyone know if tartybikes is the only company that stocks 180mm discs? or do places like chainreaction do it as well? (only 160mm on the site)
  10. im gettin a new front disc at the bikeshow, as i am fed up with my magura julie not working, so what do people think of the mono trial? (people that actually use one!) i remember dave marshall saying something about the pads moving and clicking? but what are they like in terms of power, reliability, weight etc when compared with other manufactures such as Hayes? (becuase i was thinking of gettin a Hayes El Camino DH or an HFX-9 mk2 DH)
  11. doent look like im riding emsworth rocks today! lol. anyone up for it on wednesday? me and Hobbsie are riding portsmouth on thurday, so if anyone else wants to come, post here.
  12. Tic, i did that on my first section!!!! lmao! Miles, 26" Levelboss 1100 with red decals (Expert red)
  13. just wondering if people are riding much over easter? i was thinking of riding emsworth rocks, portsmouth, southampton, worthing etc over next week and the week after. not sure about days yet. what do people think?

    Echo-zoo

yeah, i also had that frame on order!! (only one 4-bolt mount frame came on that shimpment) and Tim promised the frame to around 4 people, telling all of them that they were the only person wanting one in black with 4-bolt mounts!! i really do hate him. imo he shouldn't be allowed to run a bike company! i ordered an echo booster from him last year, and it didn't even come with an invoice/receipt or any proof of payment, and it wasn't even packaged in a propper jiffy bag!! i shall have words with him at the bikeshow
  16. nah, i agree! over-all that looks rather nice. anyone know the weight? or have i just not read the first post properly!

    Koxx Products

not available to buy as far as i know.......as someone said, thats vincent's brake (but his one now has "vincent hermance" laser etched into the reservoir cap!) looks rather nice, but im pretty sure the disc was designed to solve the problem of the koxx forks having a dodgy mount (unless they've sorted it now  )
  18. tarty told me to clean the slaves by attaching a pump fitting to a bleed tube (a decent pump obviously) and blowing all the crap out the other hole in the slave (if you get what i mean) if you have been running water before, this sometimes causes the brake to clog up becuase magura fluid does not absord water, so it sepetaes out into blobs and makes a lovely mess  just dont try to clean the inside of the slaves with WD40, water etc hope this makes sence! it's too early, so i cant explain it very well!
  19. me and Hobbsie are going on saturday, just cost us £14 for each ticket
  20. good on light grinds (Y) tear apart on heavy grinds
  21. RB levers are no longer available new. Supercycles did used to deal with the levers, but they have not had any in stock for about a year. For some reason they always insist they have never sold RB levers (despite the fact i bought mine from them!! :) (Y) ) but they still stock the RB boosters. Any RB component is available from halfords (becuase they have a deal with NSE) which aslo means any Koxx or try-all stuff can be ordered through halfords (but they don't stock it in store, usually a 2 week delivery time from NSE) but NSE have re-called all RB levers becuase a new one is in the designing stages (in order to cure the leaking master cylinder problem) and it was meant to be on sale early this year....... I would say RB levers are worth the money, but they do have their faults. i just prefer the design over the HS33 lever (although the leaking problems do really let them down)
