  1. he did indeed, but then he didnt really have to worry about engagement did he? :P
  2. ratchet + pawls = very old technology. i think clutch hubs are the future for trials (such as the stealth) but the reliabilty problems need a bit of work first

  4. there may be minus 2 gingers now, as james porter isnt going, and im not sure if i'l be allowed to have the day off work :P but i'l ask when i get home :S
  5. i'd be very surprised it it was steel! but yeah, its fairly old news now. i think its also available in a nasty burgandy colour :S EDIT: the "6061 alloy" in the top left corner kinda implies that it is aluminium alloy! :P
  6. yeah, that's what i was gonna suggest. the Brisa team used to do that. there was a pic somewhere on the net, but i cant find it :S

  9. as far as i know, there is a new RB lever out now. NSE are no longer selling the old levers, in order to make way for the new one. there was actually one at the bikeshow (but i think i must have been the only person that spotted it! (Y) )

  15. if you want to sacrifice good braking and extremely high strength for the sake of fashion, then yeah go for a viz rim changing from a Viz rim to a Ronnie was the most effective upgrade i have ever made on a bike trust me, afer a week you will be ripping your hair out with frustration becuase your brake will be crap, and you'l have some nice squashed sidewalls (Y)
  16. i do that all the time :- it's always my left pedal (left is my strong foot) and sometimes i get the top of my shoe caught under the top of the wall as well! (Y)

  19. i came off the back doing a drop gap thing in portsmouth a few weeks ago and twatted the back or my head into the wall behind me and i was glad to be wearing a helmet! (Y)
  20. ISO hubs have a disc mount, Classics do not. Classic hubs come with an ordinary axle and an aluminium driveshell as standard. ISO's have the option of having a stainless steel or titanium driveshell (and i think you can buy one with an HD axle) The HD axle is a beefed up version of the normal axle, with an M10 thread in each end for the funbolts. HD axles also require an HD lockring. Qr skewers can be used with the HD axle (with the aid of an adaptor screwed into each end of the axle) All the King spares are listed here, which might make it easier for you to understand :) Bromley Bike
  21. fook me (Y) looks lush, but i still think i prefer the hi-fi
