  1. Got tonsillitis for the 2nd time in 2 months. That makes me angry. However my doctor is an absolute babesaurus-rex.
  2. Just seen this on facebook, looks very suspicious... Could it be the 207 from the van? He's posting all over facebook after a desperately quick sale, knows naff all about the bike Link to lincoln trials bikers page where he's pushing it most - https://www.facebook.com/groups/258756820868784/652484474829348/?notif_t=group_comment_reply
  3. Haha did you like that, I did.
  4. You ride that without spds or even straps?! Wait let me rephrase that... You can ride that?
  5. So you don't want your brake to hold on a downhill slope?
  6. What you're saying doesn't really make sense. On a slope hold is what the brake requires. Anyway, always had absolutely savage brakes without a booster. Can't go wrong with cousts, yellows, adms and trialtech pads.
  7. Tape blocks of polystyrene to it
  8. Isn't that obvious? How well the brake bites - the speed it stops. Hold is how well it holds the wheel in place.
  9. A booster tends to give more hold, with a quieter sound. But personally I like a bit of flex to get a lot more bite and 'honk'. Never had an issue with a lack of hold.
  10. I never run boosters, not a fan.
  11. That's like saying that cat poo is worse than dog poo, it's all shit.
  12. Utterly butterly haha what a noob lads
  13. The full bet was both teams to score and spain to win, returning £44. Seemed promising until the second half.
  14. Put a tenner on spain to win
  15. Coust/adm pads all the way. No harm in a front disc though, just don't go for an echo. Personally I'd be getting different forks but that's more of a preference thing.
  16. I'd not bother with any form of echo brake. Even with jitsie pads. 100% vote for an sl freewheel, I can't comment on the jitsie but have heard good things. I ran try all cranks on my gu with no issues. I'd be going for a 150x30 stem as well. Mine came in at 7.7kg so it's fully possible to get that weight down... tubes is a good place to start, but that depends on how harsh you are haha
  17. I have a vote for golden granary topped with lurpak and humous (especially flavoured humous)
  18. Everything about this is correct. Oh my <3
  19. I think my most ridiculous bodge to date was about 4 years ago when I was rushing to get a bike built in time for the DJ ride. Was a full on donor bike, the frame was cracked all over etc. The only part that I couldn't seem to source was a set of mod 4 bolt forks. However, A good mate Darren had purchased all of revell's remaining stock, and he had shit loads of 26" forks... I think you can tell where this is going. Fair bit of measuring later I cut a small section out of the bottom of both legs and got them welded back together from another mate. Rode them for 2 weeks with absolutely no issues, they're still about somewhere.
  20. Buy my shinay limay

  21. My gu - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/184576-gu-2013-new-pics-added/ Rode ace with a try all 150x 30
  22. I've been invited for an interview at apple, shame they're a few weeks late as that would've been a nice opportunity.
  23. There's been a few screenshots, I'm sure someone will upload. Nothing to get excited over though, numero 3 is the real mccoy. I'll see what I can muster up for another day.
