  1. Get it done! Your pride should push you to get another 24". Theres no need for a 24" in the first place, let alone a 17" aswell. I suppose I shouldn't really talk, I have a 17" CRT and a 22" TFT that isn't even 1080p. No need for 1080p anyway if you ask me.
  2. I so want to see the F1 go round the track.
  3. Not quite enough, he still has a camp arse old 19" 6:4.
  4. They're horrid on every bike ever. What bike have you got, I know I already replied but if you have a short comp bike with fairly extreme geo (Koxx Hoesel, Monty Kamel) then I'd get Try-All rage, if it's a longer comp bike (Echo Lite Disc, Koxx Hydroxx 2), I'd get Monty PRs and extend them an inch either side, if you have a very long street bike (Zona Zip, Long Python), I'd get TrialTech.

    Adaptors

They just need to be set up correctly. My brother has a set of 04s with standard blacks in plastic backings on his XC/Jump/Hack bike and they're stiffer than the rear on his T-Lite, and about the same as on my Kot.

    Proper Pissed Off

I was meaning both, they'd have to be exactly flat and exactly in line, with a rim that has perfectly parralel sidewalls for it to work properly.

No but, but you can make them flat at least.
  8. I'd be worried about the pads getting caught in the holes and ripping the material out of the backing, or jamming on, anyway had that problem? Not to worry you or anything, just the first thing I thought about.

    Pro 2 Problem

If you managed to kill a month old pro2, you need to ride smoother. The amount of times you've posted stuff on here about stuff being weak, seriously, just ride smoother, then you wouldn't need to buy new hubs every month...

    Proper Pissed Off

Seems like a lot of work just to get your brake set up straight. What if you have a rim with sidewalls that have a camber? My slaves have to be angled upwards for the pads to hit the rim flat.
  11. He's mint! Tip them bars back though, they're wayyyy too far foward for his little arms, he can never bend his elbows!

How can you over-tighten the bleed screw? It only needs to be nipped up, then a tiny bit more just to seal it. I wish they'd make those metal rings available to buy, the clamps that don't need them, (new try-alls, I think the echo TRs aswell?), just don't work IMO, if the mounts are welded to the frame even slightly out, the pads will be on the piss.
  13. Congrats to Danny! For anyone that wants to know, the trials starts about 18:30.
  14. Where have you heard about it? What condition is it in?
  15. Nah I was asking Dave, I'm pretty sure you'll have a network. My firefox is set to delete all tempory internet files when I close it anyway. I reckon I've got something set up wrong on my Sonicwall, like I've got a DNS thingy entered wrong or something.
  16. Have you got a network? Mines still being a pain in the arse, it often only loads youtube videos part way and other streaming/flash videos not at all.
  17. Yeh it's not like moving the next size up from a long mod to a short stock, they ride completely differently. Choose whether you want a mod or stock, then choose the legnth.
  18. If you want a trials magazine, then buy Trial Magazine. Trials is a tiny sport in the UK compared to mountain biking, and the clue is in the name really... I think that it's good of them to cover trials at all, maybe it's just round here but within a 50 mile radius of my house there must be at least 10 mountain biking clubs who get 25+ riders every weekend. Whereas for trials, theres me, my brother who has a bike but rides maybe once every couple of months. My mate is the only serious rider, he's sponsored and rides comps a lot. I actually know more roadies from round here than trials riders, and I've never ridden road with any of the clubs.
  19. I don't, if anything I give it a little kick aswell to make my Pro 2 go BBBZZZZZZZZZZ.
  20. Can't believe they shipped those frames without anything to attach the hose to the frame. Looks nice though, hope it rides well. Getting another vid done whilst you're in the UK perhaps?
  21. I disagree, they're not steep enough for short bikes, they weren't steep enough when I tried mine on my 08 Echo Lite, and that was the long disc model. They'd be much more suited to a "true" long wheelbase mod. (1045 and longer). They are awesome for pretty much any stock though.
  22. I can't get it. Will it be on the iplayer?
  23. Shot blasting is best if you can get it done, it gives a rougher surface than sand blasting so the paint sticks better.
  24. Second hand Monty TIs or Try-All Rage. Or trialtech if you ride a long street basher frame like a Zona Zip or a long python.
