  1. I have heard a couple of the mods say they never validate anyone unless they start each sentence with a capital and finish it with a full stop, and never if you use text language.
  2. Sure it hasn't flared the stem out slightly? I'd just ignore it, as long as the bolts are tight and the bars don't move or snap, it should be alright.
  3. How did it not loosen? It's pretty simple, you get a spanner, and undo the barb, even if it was stripped it should still undo fairly easily.
  4. They feel so much better than FFW to ride, much smoother and stronger but with less drag.
  5. If you're already planning upgrade for an Onza, why not just buy a good bike in the first place? You can get really good bikes second hand for about £400-500.
  6. It's not fine at all! The freewheel is supposed to tighten up against the crank arm, not the side of the ISIS splines. Don't tighten it on, get a proper spacer for it. I did once grind down and Echo 6061 crankarm to solve this though. (None of the thread, just the shoulder that stuck out beyond the threads and the ISIS splines.

It's not tempory at all, it makes the headset stronger and least longer if anything! When I got one of these for my Scott YZ0, I took the cages out when it was new and fill the cups with bearings and packed it full of grease, and it was good for a year or so and seemed fine when I sold the bike.
  8. I believe they can be trimmed down to fit into standard shaped backings.
  9. You would have thought he would have spotted that wih his 1080p and all.
  10. Would I be able to travel to Southern Ireland on my provisional license?
  11. czar frame (few scratches. none on the chain stays) £150-175, depends how badly scratched. echo cnc cranks £50 viz freewheel £25 random BB Depends what it is khe chain £10
  12. Just got my new netbook, so thought I'd get some pics up. Next to my old 17" laptop: Still havn't got round to getting another 22" monitor yet.
  13. Maybe rename just the "I'm pissed and I need somewhere to sprout wank" thread? Might be an idea to sticky it aswell, to make it easy to find.

The cages in those are garbage Matt. Just get them out and fill the races with balls then pack it full of grease. Or get an Orbit/Equipe, they're well worth the upgrade if you ask me! (Had two Equipes and one Orbit now, due to buying and selling bikes).
  15. I'd say standard, integrated arn't all that if you ask me. Mind you the only two I've ever used have been Onza ones in Onza frames, and they had the have the headset way over tensioned to mask the effect of the cups moving about in the frame.
  16. He was an MP and no-one believed for a second, the story had too many holes. Was funny to carry it on and see how far it would go though.
  17. Yeh sorry mate but it just won't work, best to swap it for a trials bike if you ask me.
  18. My mate from over the hill knows a guy who films for Top Gear occasionally, and he said they're mostly completely made up. Think about it, yesterday May and Clarkson were dry all day, yet Hammond was riding through driving rain pretty much all the time. And how often have you seen a race where they didn't all end within 30 seconds of each other?
  19. They're just going to start alienating their audience if they're not careful, there was no point in saying it was Schumacher, he might have been for that lap or even a couple before, but it's not him most of the time. Mind you it is a scripted entertainment show, if they made everthing truthful I dont think it would be anything like as fun. Therefore I'm going to watch the rest blindly believing it all, Schumacher is the stig and none of the races are fixed. Like a religion, but fun.
  20. Have to agree I'm afraid. I felt they could have made some of it more entertaining fairly easily. The whole stig thing was dragged out too much if you ask me, and it took me a while to remember that the evora was that Lotus... Also, taken from http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...Schumacher.html If you ask me they should have never revealed his identity, the whole idea of the stig was that he was an independant judge with no preferences of cars and that he was more of a computer than a bloke, now they're saying it's a guy thats been in Ferraris back pocket since the 90s, great.... Ah well, lets just wait for the new Veyron, no doubt they'll find some insane new way to test it and Jeremy will drive it somewhere and say it's in a whole new league to the old veyron, despite being mostly the same apart from the power figure.
  21. I can understand you not noticing, mate, it's not like Hammond was riding along saying "Black Shadow" all the time and singing about it...
  22. Thats opinion not fact. I've snapped one spring in my Pro2, whilst I know people that have broken their kings several times. The machning quality is amazing, you'd struggle to get much better when mass producing stuff.
  23. Because Top Gear is scripted, and they often record their races on different days apparantly. The race between Jeremy in the RS4 and the climber was recorded on different days apparantly.
  24. I thought Ben Collins was just the black stig?
