Shipping stuff to Ireland doesn't cost that much as it's still in the UK, (effectively) so it's just the same as shipping to scotland or wales. We don't need DHL shipping, the UK has some really good couriers and although people keep knocking the Royal Mail, I've only had trouble with them once, and that was sue to the strikes. How much would it cost to ship the frame into and out of the UK? Including Ireland? Depending on the cost I might be back in. I know that for me to post it to the highlands will cost around £10-15, which at the moment is about $14-$21 (by my estimate), if the cost to get it into the UK to me is something similar I'll do it. You might aswell let us deal with shipping it to Ireland, if it is sent and arranged within the UK it can't cost more than £15-20 surely, even by courier.

I ordered a tyre from him once then another time a lever, he managed to get them right, it was within the last 6 months. But I'm worried he's got my card details now, he had someone elses and he had agreed they could pay half on one date then half on another, but he took money out of their account before the agreed date. I think it might have been Nick Manning? Not certain though.

It's a great idea and everything, but I just can't afford that kind of money to have one of the frames for a month, any decent sums of money like that I manage to get are going towards my motorbike fund and Uni. Sorry but I'm out.

I'm guessing you have one main and one slave drive? Move everything from the slave onto the main that you want to keep, then reformat the slave and put everything you want to keep from the main onto the slave (along with the stuff you moved from the slave to the main before you formated it), disconnect the slave for safety, format the main and reinstall the OS, then when you boot up you'll have two formatted hard drives with everything you want to keep on the slave drive.

That works out at £70 at the current exchange rates! I'll be posting it to the highlands according to the list, I sent a complete bike there last year for £25, so it can't be more than £15 this time surely, the box I used was huge. Sorry but I'm out, I just can't afford that at the moment. To be honest asking people to pay to test a frame for you is a bit harsh, especially when we're only getting it for a month and we have to complete a to do list. Not looking for an argument! Just my thoughts. If you want a product with some quality testing from riders all over the world then you should be bank rolling it if you ask me, £70 to rent a frame for a month is a bit much if I'm honest. I think it's enough that your asking people to debuild their bikes, get used to a new frame, make a video and give it some publicity all within the space of a month.

Are we getting the all black one? I can't wait! It looks lush. The other two look great aswell, good effort.

Thanks for the advice Inur, I'll have a look for it. Cheers Elliot but I'm just not keen on Mac's, I've used them a couple of times and I'm just not keen to be honest! I'll think about it though.

I had a vaio before, it broke when it got around 5 years old, the little switch that turns the backlight on and off got all corroded inside or dust in it or something because it won't let the backlight come on any more, I cleaned it out with switch cleaner and it worked for a few months then stopped again, but it's too slow to be of any use really. I really don't want to have to have Vista, I can't stand it.

Hey, I'm looking at laptops for when I go to Uni in september, but I want to get sorted sooner than that because my desktops on it's way out. I don't know a lot about laptops, I'm looking to spend about £500, and I want something thats: Small enough to fit in a normal rucksack, I don't want to have to carry a big laptop bag with meSTRONG, I've heard all sorts of horror stories about peoples laptops breaking, I want something really tough that won't break, but I don't know what makes are tough any more.It has to have XP, I can't stand vista at allI'd prefer it to have built in wireless, just in caseA big hard drive, I have a lot of videos that I'll want to watch on it.I think I'd rather have an intel processor and 2/4gb of ram, but it's more important that it doesn't break. Cheers in advance for any help, I have searched online for reviews and stuff, but I'd like some owners views of whats best. Theres just so much to read it's hard to take it all in and work out which is best for me, Ebuyer alone must have about a million to choose from. I have a spare XP license, how difficult is it to downgrade from Vista? I'm guessing there might be trouble getting drivers etc...

I'd shot blast it and start again with primer and that.

If you only doing for weight, don't bother, you'll save about 10-25gs. You need to be really careful when cutting it not to splinter it, so you have to use really fine hacksaw blade, and then find a way to seal the open cut. So I'd just leave it if I were you.

Try cleaning it out, 07 and Tarty Pro2s used oil instead of grease. (I think, not certain though.) I've got a silver Tarty one, it's as loud as f**k.

I'd get a Monty TI stem with 09 rage bars or Monty TI bars, and either a Mono Trial or a HS33 on the back and a Mono Trial on the front.

It's easy, just build it normally, but on each hub flange leave two holes unfilled opposite each other. I'm huessing Radially spoked would be easiest, but if it's a disc wheel then you want it crossed at least on the disc side. EDIT: But if you havn't bought the stuff yet, get a 28h hub aswell, it'll make your life easier.

Whats with all the hate? He's trying something new, pushing the boundaries of whats possible on a trials bike, and all you can think to do is tell him he's not as good as Danny Mac? Are you blind? They have completely different styles, they both have their own stregnths and weaknesses, It's like comparing Tunnicliffe and Hermance, they're both amazing, but could both out-do the other in certain situations.

Shut up Chinnery, why don't you use the search and find a topic about the best bar/stem set-up for a Zona, that would actually be helpful, and you would have realised that there havn't been any! Linky. From my experience, I'd say TrialTech Bars with a Try-All stem or Monty TI/Try-All Rage bars on a Monty TI stem. Depends what sort of shape bars you want though and how high you want them, Monty TI and Try-All Rage bars have a lot of upsweep and backsweep, whereas Zoo/Adamant/Czar/GU bars have almost none, and TrialTechs are somewhere in the middle.

Fixed rate on an under 18s ISA? Yeh right.... I did mean to get a proper current account and ISA when I turned 18, silly me, I could be getting 8% interest now. Doesn't make any difference because I've got f**k all to pay into it.
-
That would work if interest rates hadn't failed, my ISA was making 6% last year, now it's making 1.2%.

Definately get second hand, you can buy one of the news Onzas for about £500 or you can buy a second bike with an amazing spec for that. I bought my Kot MS2 for £600 and it had hardly been ridden, same with my Echo Lite which I'm selling again, I've upgraded a lot on it since i bought it though. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;#entry1804297 Just as an example of what you can get! If you've only got £300 or £400 then there will always be a better bike second hand you can find.

No, I thought they tended to be filled with air, so you could breath like? I was more thinking of the effect it has on your interior and how you get it dry and clean again.

How do you pronounce Caelifera? Can't wait! I really want to try a steeper head angle. Got any dates in mind?
-
Doesn't it fill up with water when you open the door in there?
-
Front Try-All and a rear Monty, best set-up ever IMO. The Montys wear a bit faster than the creepys, but they wear about as fast as the Try-All fronts, so you don't end up with half worn tyres. EDIT: Also save a good bit of weight over Creepys and a lot over Echos.

No it's not, just unscrew them again, it helps having a cordless drill. I tried rachet straps but they were shite, they still let the pallets slide about and they snapped eventually from me having to have them so tight.
