  1. You'd get an even better price if you didn't spend money painting it and posting it, and were to chuck it in a lake and say it got lost in the post.

    Bb Length.

118 should be fine, but I'd get the 128 anyway, it would mean you won't have to buy a new one if you ever go FFW.
  3. Haha, I've never heard of that happening, ever. If you wanted to scam someone, why would you go to the trouble of cracking your frame, respraying it and sending it, when you could just keep it? I bought my bike as a complete build with a rear maggy and an 07 frame, it was all as new, it was like it had hardly been ridden.
  4. Do whatever you like, I prefer natural, so that's what I try to ride most.
  5. I don't think trials is expensive at all, when you look at the design of components and how much machining they've needed, they're pretty cheap really. The bikes can take such a hammering aswell these days, doing all the trials type things, when it weighes under 10kg and the rider weighes about 70kg.
  6. You wierdo. Just got back from Wales yesterday, it rained for 3 of the 4 days we were there. Come back to England and it's all nice, happy days.
  7. 5 foot? It's about 3 tops, and you just rode off it, and it wasn't skinny, it was at least a foot wide. So no, I think its very softcore actually.

    Eno Freewheels

I've had mine since December 2006, it's been rebuilt twice, once was because I rode a really wet and muddy trial and it started making grinding noises. It's skipped about 4 times in total, and not once since I rebuilt it the first time and cleaned all the old grease out, the springs were covered in it.
  9. I used to think the same, but have changed my mins recently, I've got a fixed tensioner, and I'm constantly fiddling with it. A good sprung tensioner removes the hassle of adjusting the chain tension manually.
  10. I'm guessing that the video actually isa joke, because even a complete beginner doesn't think that falling off all the time is "hardcore". Also, you say it was filmed over the summer, and it was clearly the same riding spot, so I'm guessing you did it in about 5 minutes.
  11. I've ridden this frame, there certainly were no cracks then! Get pics of it and judge for yourself, if it held Adam up it should be fine.
  12. If you buy a hope, they're designed properly, so you don't need to mess about with silly spacers and cables. I run a little baby tensioner because my chain stretched too much and I'm too tight to buy a new one.
  13. Ahh fair enough, I've got a Monty TI rear rim and it looks like they're punched out to me. The old Echo 05 rims were CNC'd though, and they didn't cost £70 a rim. How did he manage to keep the manufacture cost down? (I'm genuinely interested, not being picky).
  14. We are planning ride in Buxton on the 14th. We'll be meeting at Buxton Train Station, I think the parking is free, but don't hold me to that. My train gets in at 11:30 or 12:30, whichever one fits in with Joshy best. Everyone is welcome, here's a list of riders: Me. Wilf. (My brother, I'll try and bully him into it). Josh Greenan. Oakland. (Possibly). BerryBike/Alex. (Possibly, Oakland's asking him). Tom Booth says he'd love to come, but he's too busy driving to see some ring in Germany. I'm not sure on the time yet, anyone wanting to come PM me asap.

    My Echo Lite

672g with the little headset ring race thingy, so about the same as Dob ones I think.
  16. Why couldn't you just stamp the holes? And why are they eyeletted? It's just not neccessary, trials rims get ground through or dented, egged or cracked long before the spokes pull through.
  17. I can't believe how many people's birthdays there are in August! Happy birthday Jonny! (For two days ago).

    My Echo Lite

Fair enough, I like them but I don't think I'd do it again. JonMack called me egotistical. What he said. Because the only one I could take off would be the centre one for the rubber bit, and if I took it off I'd save about 10g and I couldn't put the bash back on. Cheers guys! I love the forks, other people have said it would ride better with some normal ones, but I put my Echo Lites back in recently and changed it back after about 15mins, it just felt wrong. That's because your a fat basher that likes doing silly high drops.
  19. Wouldn't this brake have the same effect as a magura with one of the longer lever blades? To a certain extent. If I was after a rear hydraulic rim brake, I'd be seriously considering one of these right now.
  20. I think we're hoping to ride at Betws Y Coed one day, and go hunting round another day. We'll ring Alex anyway so he can let the locals know when and if we'll be at Betws Y Coed.
  21. Do you honestly think Callum doesn't already know that? There is no buying or selling going on here, Callum is offering to give some tar away for no profit.
  22. There are some riders about in Braintree, I don't know how big a place it is though, but they should be able to help out.
  23. Lighter Parts are needed before modding if you ask me, but if you want to go really light, you have to mod lightweight parts.
  24. I don't know to be honest, I've never worked on an ENO, there's probably something in the wiki though.
