I found it easier to learn with a sloped pallet, then take it away when you've done it a few times... I can hook flat surfaces so i musn't have learnt wrong if i can do it....

Hey, Find a nice height wall thats about 1ft - 2ft higher than what you can pedel hop to back wheel. Find a pallet and learn up against the side of the wall at an angle. The trick is to put your front wheel on of top and hit back on the side also making contact with the wall at the the same time. When you hit it at the same time with a bit of speed all your weight should be over the front. Then it's sort of like the front to back switch technique and hey presto! hope that helps Dan

meh! - we get this all the time. Police come along and say we'll get arrested & bikes impounded but ask them "under what law?" - You can only be arrested and bikes taken away for criminal damage and the Police must see you do it... Ride Trials & Know your rights. Dan
