  1. coolio, shall pump me tyre up and try it (Y) Pete
  2. Heya doods, I've recently just been having more fun linking stuff together than actually doing say a big gap or a nice up. This is mostly due to being bored and only having a few curbs outside my house lol. The curb vids were a great inspiration except that i struggle with most of the more complex moves in them  The main thing i want to learn is static 360's (not hopping but one big spin from two wheels back to two wheels) I figured then i can use that skill to spin lesser amounts etc. I can pedal hop 180 from two wheels at the mo, and 180 off stuff if that helps (Y) Any help much appreciated!!
  3. The ultimate aid to successful chatupness has to be a hockey team lol, In Bangor one of the hockey boys was chatting up this girl, not sure how successfully. Soon she was surrounded by Bangor's 1st mens team on their knees singing "you've lost that loving feeling" a la top gun lol seemed to work he left with her later Pete
  4. Its a kind of mirage created by the heat coming out of the road/hill/thingy. Least i think thats what it it lol Pete
  5. Almost got done by one of them mobile ones on the M1 today (Y) Stupid Audi, Is always going faster than you think you are!! I jammed on along with the whole outside lane so should be alright :D" pete oooo did anyone see the top gear where they tried to outrun a speed camera?? Took a TVR Tuscan and 180 mph to beat it lol
  6. You talk some crap lol, the twin triangle may be preferred for street, but the coust/ashton/onza/zoo shape is pretty unbeatable in the uci world, with the obvious exception of koxx and echo which are still kind of twin triangle esque. Just because a frame is made by machines in taiwan doesn't mean that it doesn't have some thought or care put into it. Think of ashtons frame for example, thats made in taiwan yet he spent years developing that. curtis and leeson are starting to blur together, especially in the 24" but thats just trials evolution and progress :) + of course companies want to make money lol, Curtis for example charge an extra 100 over leeson yet they are both handmade in Britain. pete P.s. vince's bike is looking good, there are some hints on otn that the rims are powdercoated to match his new frame. powdercoated xtp? or whole new frame?
  7. wow, This arguement is still going Guy's your never going to see eye to eye lol Pete
  8. Ditto, i was thinking that lol Herro!! Hans, Hans, Hans, your busting my bwalls here! lol (Y) pete
  9. I know what i'm doing this summer...
  10. I like the adjustability of my avid, my mono mini was a nightmare to adjust and i imagne the trial version is the same. The avid is also oh so simple, not much to go wrong really!!! Pete
  11. I don't want to ever hear those words in a sentence again

  13. Err it is isn't it? Series 1 is pretty ancient isn't it? At least 50's or somthing

  16. Water is thinner and less compressible (possibly incompressible??) therefore gives a snappier more solid feeling lever. Pete

  19. Can't see your logic there, hows someones personal site going to piss off the companies that pay? sounds like a pretty good idea, although personal sites have pretty much died out really. t'is a shame but t-f does it all! Pete
  20. Was it as much as we put in your drink at matt's party lol Oh and on the topic of spirits where's Aust these days? :- pete
  21. I like my Vaio, :P does everything i ask of it. has a funky screen although i pay for it with pretty crappy battery life and it weighing a ton lol. I'd go with IBM though if you have the money, my dad has one from work and its teeny weeny! Pete
  22. I imagine because they're weaker, can't think why else? maybe older and they're trying to get rid. Pete
  23. Rhyno lites, atomlab and dmr rims all come in 36h, problem with atomlab is they're expensive and heavy. Although they make up for that in being the definition of bomb proof! Rynolites are d521 like and quite light, not to sure about dmr rims. Talk to leedstrials, Mike knows tonnes about 24 stuff and came up with loads of stuff when i was going to put a 24 rim on my monty. Pete
  24. I think he means its a bmx rim, obviously failing to notice that it comes in 24 as well. (least i hope it does or boy will i feel stupid) If you want a decent 24 rim tomm i'd go for either atomlab, tioga or sun. although personaly i think the ryno lite is more than adequate and mucho light. Pete
