  3. hey bike looks good. are you going to cut some steerer tube off or leave it that high? i had my ashton forks with alot of stackers like that and ended up bending the steerer tube. so juast a tad of advice, i would cut the steerer down.
  4. da shiz for sure! must say i dont think he is one of the most handndsome of felows after a few of them face plantsbut he dose have Huge Balls and he dose bounce like rubber. i am sure if that was me i would be on the ground crying like a little girl. awesome rider!!
  5. aye get some tassles and a basket, how about some spokys for the wheels? i must say the bike looks sweet and the tyres look awsome it is the nicest 20inch i have seen. (myopinion) P.S did i mention a barbie bell? you will probably want to keep the weight down, the bell might just be to much lol
  6. mate that had to be the best video you have put together, nice flow some sweet gaps and lines, i guess that is some of the place u found to go riding, u were telling me about?

  8. hey dude check my new post, what u think?

  9. hey folks some people might think i am a twat and others may think different but here we go anyway. i was running a font disk and was fed up of the front cable getting caught on the frame if the bars spun round, i would have got one of them BMX headset bolts that the cable runs through the centre but the forks i am using are Echo urbans and the steerer tube is to thick. so my solution was to drill through the steerer tube and route my cable through their. let me know what us think, all comments welcome.
  10. cant make it, sorry everyone, got to work the sat hope us have a good one on sat when i am stuck in work
  11. lol been riding with Danny, kinda the same set up with the wheels lol , his bars feel higher and a tad futher forward. i had a set of black Fattys on it, the all black just looked awful. yeh Ross (Glasvagas) and a few of the other GSR (Glasgow Street Riders) slags me all the time for the orange strips lol but ah well.
  12. sounds good just need to put in for the sat off work. Ross and Rob how are us getting up?
  13. Hey folks , my mate Ross posted a photo of my inspired a while back when i just got it. Now that i am a full member i thought i would post up the finnished rig (well almost finnished). i have a few ideas to make it look and ride a bit better but all will be revealed in a few weeks time. sorry about the poor quality photos. all comments welcome..... enjoy
  14. sweet ride must be one of the nicest white 4plays i have seen in white, the setup look good, just the bars look a bit far forward.
  15. hey ross your photos are sweet, i like the first one. would be cool if you got every one who was riding to stand in the frame and get like a road fools kinda photo , if u get what i mean. i am realy gutted that i could not get to go whens the video going up?
  16. so gutted wish i could have went, looked like a good weekend with some good banter. nice photos .
  17. sweet photos , i like the big gaps and huge side hops, ACE riding !
  18. i have a large helmet to lol (its a peepot) and it looks daft. i would say a fox flux looks very tidy. i think that is my next buy. the xen is also very nice but i like how the fox flux looks
  19. yeh i know what u mean looking at it it looks not bad but for £9.99 , if it sucks it is not that much of a loss. just role on july and i will let every one know.
  20. hey folks just thought i would post this chain tensioner to see what people thought of it. the Shimano Alfine chain tensioner cost only £9.99 unlike some of the other chain tensioner made by other manufacturs costing about £15 upwards. it also comes in silver or black. i was going to buy one to see what it is like but unfortunetly it is out of stock from Madison cycles till July time so i guess i will need to wait and see. If anyone has on a Shimano Alfine chain tensioner let me know what you think of it and what the chainline is like. cheers everyone
  21. hey man u heading 2 rosses on sunday? are we all riding sunday?

  22. Maxxis tyre all round for sure, tioga tyres do wear fast if u ride street alot. Maxxis is alot cheeper to buy and the weight is not bad. swamphing tyre is not bad trials tyre, comes in 2.10 and a 2.50 it costs round about £30 each Highroller dh is a good tyre for trials aswell comes in 2.10 and a 2.50 single ply or double ply and costs about £30 michelin dh tyre is pretty heavy but good grip and costs round about £35 to £40 not to sure myself. tioga is crap in the wet for street use, no grip at all maxxis is not bad in the wet get some grip but is far better than tioga. Mitchelin tyres i am not to sure what they are like in the wet never ride one in the wet but i am sure it would be the same as the maxxis for street riding i would recomend a DMR Moto tyre for the front, it rolls fast and dose not wear out fast and grips when u need it. maxxis minion tyre is good aswell for the front for street or natural trials.
  23. hey i worked in halfrauds for 4 years and finaly moved to a real bike shop, my advice is dont go to halfords. the money is crap for what u do, and the discount is crap aswell unles u have a car or looking for car bits and bobs. i worked part time on an 8hour contract and ended up being the bike specilist casue the fultimer did not have a clue about bikes and then i ended up doing fultime hours on a part time contract becase you need to work over 30 odd hours before they pay you overtime. for what halfords is as a company they are crap it is a money thing they dont care about anything els. ( funny thing is i am in my bike shop the now checking my mail and checking the fourm out and a customer walks in with an apollo bike and complains about how crap halfords is and that the bike was not put together properly lol ) if their is any local bike shops go try them for a job cause the experiance is better and the discount is probably also better.
  24. Well i would say that you are never to old to ride and you could possibly teach and old dog new tricks. My mates and i are all round about 18 to about 23 and we all ride trials. it is not an age thing it is if u enjoy it go out and do it.
