My first bike was (and is) a 221ti....

Here in the US, some old beaurocrat decided that, in order to relieve our 'energy crisis', we should start daylight savings time earlier. BAM! Just like that, we reset our clocks at a different time. Two weeks ago, actually. I guess it is nice, though, as I could ride much later in the daylight than the rest of the northern hemisphere. America is so frikin' conceited!

um.... no words....

Well, in all truth I have to reveal that I was actually registered as a "new member" before I even had my bike. I have since had it for almost a month and have ridden every day but two. Today, I cleanly cleared two pallets back wheel to back wheel 4'2". Yes, I know that is not too splendid, but I have only been riding for a short time.... and I am an OLD MAN!!

I thought for sure he would be dead! It looked like he hit that last rail in the air! I like the fact that I am never expected to go that fast on my bike...

I have to vouch for this statement. We are so behind in terms of trials. There are several undeniable reasons for this. 1. Really, America is all about "bigger, better, faster, more... now!" If you can't get good enough at something to impress onlookers within 2 months, the vast majority of Americans are not down to try. 2. For as much money as we spend on entertainment and food, Americans are quite cheap and not willing to spend the cash to get started. 3. Safety gear is never 'cool' in this country; so, if everyone is wearing helmets, it will be slow to catch on. I swear, as soon as I finish school and have something to offer another country, I am SO leaving this land of fat, lazy, hateful, power-tripping, ignorant.... Whatever, I guess this is no place for an anti-America rant...

Seriously, anyone who disagrees with the statement that the 221ti is the best riding bike ever has either never ridden one or is jealous that they can't afford one.

Not bad for a little guy... Heck, not bad for any guy! Great riding, great vid. Please pass along my respect and astonishment to him. EDIT: The trademark of really good editing is the proper showcasing of the subject. Danny, you did such an awesome job with the video, that my focus went totally to him. Watching again made me realize that your editing was top notch and illustrated his riding quite well. Props go out to you, too.

I just thought that this was really funny In reality, I could find no less than 8 grammar and spelling errors on this page alone. Everyone cannot be validated immediately... Think about the fact that it would cause many problems in the wanted/sales forum alone if someone could join and put something up for sale right away. I don't think that it is a good idea. The mods are doing a good job with things; don't rock the boat.

My first bike was my ti... I think it only helps if you can manage to get something great in the beginning!

My gosh, you guys are awesome! Lucky for me, my girl rides too... so when the cops roll by, we just hold hands and pedal in a straight line like we weren't jumping on anything. No one bothers us when she is around. So, the moral is, "If you get a girlfriend that rides, and if you act really gay, the cops may just leave you alone." Then again, in those big European cities, you probably go riding in large groups (jealousy overrides me).

This is the end of my second year of college. I am a math major with a 4.0 and I ride everyday. How? Simple, give up all the things that don't really matter. I never watch tv or sit around doing nothing. Granted, I only ride about 3 hours a day... any more and I would have to sacrifice my time on the forum It really isn't too bad if you don't waste time. Be efficient and you can find time for both!

My brother, that was some sick riding! Though the quality may not have been the best, I thought it looked great for a phone... I expected much less quality from your apology. Thanks for taking the time to post it!

There was a good deal of great riding in there, but with the excess slow motion repeats, I could not finish watching it.

221ti ... whether you like the way it looks or not, with its geo and circa 19 pound weight, it just can't be beaten. I have an '07, but the '06 with all titanium spokes would probably take the cake. My girlfriend has an '07 Python and my roommate has an A3... I have ridden them both and feel guilty that my bike is so much better...

I have disks, but my girlfriend has a maggie. I want to make her brake bite better for her. However, whenever I go to the building supply store and ask for tar, all I am offered are buckets of liquid sludge. Do I get that and then let it dry out, or is there another kind I should ask for?
