the reason i started tha thread is because iv found a guy from china who sells deng and zhi frames cheap, all the £300 frames are 150 and the zhi is 120. so bleeeeeeeeeh

well they worked great before with the same grind. and the bleed was fine, cylinders went to the rim with the tpa all out.

iv never tryed zoo pads. i used to run smooth rims and the brake kept slipping. i was thinking about smooth rims or rear disc because it just seems a waste of rims when you keep grinding them. so zoo pads are good no?

ok, to put this simply, my maggie is bien sh*t. It bites like a baby and holds terribly. i have green rock pads quite worn down but still about 4/5 mm left. i dont see any reason why that should affect the performance. i gave the magura a fresh bleed, and my echo 06 rim(i think) a fresh fairly deep grind. i also cleaned the pads and it still performs like sh*t. I have got some ali c joypads but i need some tensile mounts to fit them as my frame is real narrow. the pads used too be great but i think theyve just got worse since iv got the new wheel.( 06 echo). what should i do???

you need to unscrew it anticlockwise i think well just think about it like this, when it was first put on it would tighten up as you pedel.

yup yup yup, i started on a saracen xray. it was so heavy i couldnt do more than one back hop. but i kept practising never the less. good old fasioned determination. a good worksman never blames his tools. (or something like that)

if your just starting buy a second hand bike off here or ebay. and then you can keep the rest for when you start upgrading your bike!! that way you can be practising while saving. if your 12 i would probably get a mod just because you will find it more to your size.
