Curiosity Killed The Cat.
rudirudirudirudirudi replied to rudirudirudirudirudi's topic in Trials Chat
thanks for all the comments guys. well the reason i asked this is because a friend of mine (squit man) who has been doing trials for a long time was saying that i was progressing really fast. i wasnt so sure so i thought id find out from you guys. i now feel kinda guilty as i think i am progressing quickly listening to what you guys had to say. well basicly i can sidehop benches about 2-3 foot high. pedal up ( surge) about 4 pallets drop off picnic tables and stuff gap 5 foot sorry if any of this sounded big headed or anything. use the search next time theres loads of posts about this. i bled mine earlier and used de-ionized water as it stops the system to rust. best bleed ever. water *** i have never liked blood. but be sure to clear out your system of blood if you change to water. i just pumped water through over and over till it was pretty much gone. it works fine Rudi

hi. I was looking at frames on tarty and like the zhi zm2. it doesnt run a bashplate and was wondering whether this was essential. i noticed that zoo pythons dont run them either and iv noticed that a lot of people have them. what do you run? does anyone know what the zhi is like? thanks in advance.

hey man. i used to have this problem. i used to be most comfortable sidehopping to the right and my right foot is forwards. i now sidehop to the left. just practise. I switched by practising going onto the rear wheel and then just hopping straight up. later tried to do the same but slightly to the left. then start going up curbs. it doesnt really matter which way you go its just that your pedal can get in the way when doing bigger heights if you jump towards your front foot. hope iv helped. rudi

Kmc Kool Chain
rudirudirudirudirudi replied to rudirudirudirudirudi's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
thats what i thought but it looks like the ends of the little things connecting the links are like squashed at the ends so they dont come out. will it come out at all or slip through? -
Im just wondering whether it would be a good idea to join the chain without the split link as would probably be stronger. what do you guys do? cheers.

What Shoes Do You Like The Best ?
rudirudirudirudirudi replied to dean-monty-101's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
whatever fits me really. To be honest having different shoes with different grips doesnt affect my riding. i dont think it matters too much. the only thing i do look for in shoes is the grip. must be flat and not wear down easily as some wear really quickley. Rudi -
Colours For My New Frame
rudirudirudirudirudi replied to bcourt2005's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
If it was me, id leave out the gold. Like the other guy said. Red would look great. Blue looks good too. I sprayed my frame black and looks good with jus minimal bits of silver but im trying to build it up to a bit of red. but keep it simple like hubs, maggie 4 bolt clamps. Rudi -
Bike Trials Mag Redesigned
rudirudirudirudirudi replied to AdamAllen's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
looks sweet. i like the way the writing down the side sort of blends in to the background. looks much better with the green writing title. rudi -
