    Osx86 Project

Yea that should be fine, its mainly the motherboard that you need to worry about... Have a look through here?, it should tell you whether or not your mobo will be suitable. Good luck! Charlie

    Osx86 Project

Ive been using osx 10.5 on my PC for about a month or so now with no problems! Ive been pretty lucky with hardware, as osx is picky! (im running a Q6600, P5W DH deluxe, 2gb ram, 6600gt) It took a good few days to get working how i wanted it, but it was nothing difficult. There are many forums to help out. Ive been using XP for years, upgraded to vista after christmas, became sick of it after about a week and turned to osx, best choice! using a program called VMware Fusion, i have installed xp and can use any windows apps i miss (only winamp!) Its well worth doing if your comps up to it! EDIT: An operating system for each screen!

    Cnc Or Not?

Judging by the finish of both parts, its likely that they have been sand cast. I cant really say unless i could actually see it, but i think your right, it doesn't really look CNCd.
  5. Did a 3ds max module at uni last semester, Sandwich toaster concept: And a shaver too: The modelling was done in pro engineer, rendering done in max.
  6. Sounds like a PSU problem, does it have enough power? Q6600s draw quite a lot of power, as does that graphics card. i have a similar set up, with a slightly worse graphics card.. and it all runs fine with my hiper 580W PSU.
  7. Just made this for my XC/road bike: Nothing exciting really, i would show my trials bike tensioner... but its the same as 90% of this thread! Charlie
  8. Just found they can be further upgraded with carbon blades... Here I doubt the ~10g saved would be worth it. The guys ebay shop is quite cool, im tempted to get a new jocky wheel!
  9. Found these on another forum, not ideally great for trials, but pretty impressive! The whole lots weighs 286g apparently. Shame they are £230! Forum link: Here eBay link: Here

  13. Grinding your rim is the best way, but tar is ideal for beginners. I have a lump of tar you can have for free, you'll just need to send me a self addressed envelope. Email me if you want tar, (my email is on my profile) Charlie

  22. I think that creepy old peadophile from family guy is singing that song! The voices are so similar its uncanny! But the rest of the album is awsome, kind of a cross between kid A and OK computer.
  23. Im on 1 month ones too, so much better than glasses! Ive been using really cheep and cheerful ones (£25ish for 6 months worth) for about 3 years and ive had no problem, even when whitewater kayaking. I sampled the night and day ones too, you can just put them in and forget about them for a month. Get lenses, it makes everything better!
  24. This? My flat mate had one similar with xbox360/pc and it worked fine.
