depends what geo your bike frame has really if you have a higher bb frame then a higher stem is in need. have a lower bb stem and you should have a lower stem. as for bars, zoo bars are lovely.

why does everyone seem to believe vees aren't as good as maggies? most the time they are better..

they dont break as easy, the 4 prongs wont snap of with metal backings as easy. the cylinders are smaller so you can have super wide trials rims and not have your cranks hit them each pedal stroke. they are, which is better maggies break pretty easy to be fair.

they do replace it. i dont think they'll replace the 07 ones not sure on that... its because the '06 ones are prone to snapping.

the chain would be fine, but get a thicker chain unless your using gears. i dont think it will work, the chain will probably be sticking out further than the bashguard. why dont you just try it?
