hog rims are extreeeeeemely weak but if your not harsh on the front put it on, but i'd say the try-all would be stronger on than the hog rim.

BULLSHIT ever rode a pro2? its very loud because of the spring tension but doesnt slow you down significantly. chris kings have 72 engagements and dont slow you down a noticable ammount.

well having a front freewheel means that you only have to replace the freewheel if it breaks. i'd only get a fixed hub though if you need 116mm drop outs (on modstocks and mods) otherwise id stay with a 'normal' hub. they just seem to be more reliable.

the back end dont look weak at all!?!?! its like 10mm thick and triangles are one of the strongest shapes. so its going to be strong.

thinner sole, dont make much difference on grip really. and some have ankle support which would be good

bike companies usually put cheaper parts on their complete bikes (such as bb, headset, bars, stem) to bring the cost down. building a custom built bike will mean that the whole bike is branded, therefore alot better quality. just pointing out the obvious...
