There is a risk with riding a bike without a helmet, end of story. Trials riding is no exception.

I always wear a helmet when riding!

Same goes for me, they sent me the wrong mech hanger once but apologized and sent me the right one for free while letting me keep the first one

You would definitely be able to do much more on a trials bike so I say go for it, look around on a couple of bikes and try them out.

Do a small endo (lock front brake at very low or no speed and lean forwards a little) and then use your bike as a lever, keep leaning back when the rear wheel hits the ground and then it's just a matter of practice and getting the feel for it. This is how I learnt

I don't think it's common for riders to be able to ride with both feet forward, most riders prefer either the right or the left foot. And if you want to practise sidehopping to the right, stick with your right foot forward, I'd say

Google finds several products that convert QR to bolts, but it looks like it depends on what hub you have.

Ow that wouldn't be too nice! I do have another front wheel from my old bike that I could use instead. It's a drilled, red Sun rim with some standard hub, would it be better for trials riding? That will put me on Vee's though, which means I'll also have to switch to my Planet X fork, hmm..

Thanks yeah that edgy seat tube thing sure does look bad but it's a trials bike and I'm happy with that =)
