Nice read, and I'm glad your getting your old hobbie back bit by bit, I had something similar but not due to injury. But obviously if you have seen my vids I wasn't riding trials before what I had, so I'm happy in a way that I've sort of started trials due to what happened and I'm loving it. I wish you all the best in the future.

ok guys/girls I took some of your advice and my own tensioner and I'm well chuffed. I used an old rusty bracket an old jockey wheel from a derailleur some bolts,nuts,washers,a vice,a hammer and cable ties after half a days work of messing around trying to get the shape it looks like this... It seems to work ok at the moment but haven't gone on a proper ride yet but I am after lunch, I will edit if I'm in one piece or not when I get back. Well done, not many people have any idea how to give CPR, but because you did this first aid coarse you were able to help, unfortunately this woman did passed away, but what you got to think about is she would have passed away whether you got there or not, you did keep her going for that much longer, you did nothing wrong. I know it would be hard for you to think proudly of this situation because of the outcome, but just remember you did all you could to the best of your abilities, so you should be happy to know you can carry out these acts to help people in the future if needed. I believe the best way to feel better about this and not remember it as a bad situation is to talk about it with your family / friends which you have started doing, if you still feel very bad about it in say a month, then do go to your doctors or try and get in contact with maybe samaritans samaritans site Just for advice what to do, or just get in contact with them now if you feel you need to.

It's a great idea and you have thought it through looking how long your post is... But if its exposer your going for, a private trials video site with registration surely wont be that exposed? why would someone take there time to go on there if they knew nothing about trials.. Surely you would get much more exposer to people who don't "search" for trials on youtube and other various video sites? By the way you may of spoke about these in your post, I only read the first few paragraphs.

I use a HS11, Only reason I do is that I got it for free... I guess people see plastic lever body and think shit, But I have been using mine for a few months now and I have not snapped it, never has anything gone wrong with it, I'm still using the stock pads with tar on my rim and it bites good for my level of riding. I personally feel any movement in the lever body when using the brake, but then that could also be because I'm used to it and have never used a HS33 on my bike. If you haven't got enough money for a HS33 then go for the HS11 they do work well, but if you have then the better option will be the HS33.

Can't you put the brake on the bike and measure between the pads? That'll be the simplest solution....
