  1. i used to have one of these, it was so good on the back wheel! not really trials wheels they were off my freeride bike!
  2. all depends on what sort of riding you want to do, if you want a streety feel bike for big bunny hops, manual type moves then dont get anything longer than around 1060, if you do more trialsy moves that involve pedaling to get up stuff then a longer one is probably better, i had this problem last year, i bought an echo pure long which is something like 1085 (i think) and i did more streety stuff, could i get the front end up to manual, could i heck!! i couldnt even bunny hop 6 inches it was that bad so i had to get rid, i moved onto an inspired fourplay which was superb for my style of riding and i think thats 1040, if your used to the saracen and you like the way it rides i'd stick to smaller wheelbase 1010 is really short but if you like it then thats up to you.....and when you measure the wheelbase its from the centre to centre of the hubs, hope this helps
  3. cheers, big dent in the downtube though ...its similar geo to a pashley 26mhz, i just need some chrome steel forks now, really hard to come by these days!
  4. check this bad ass frame out, it was my mate phil's (R.I.P) he sadly died in 2003 in a car accident but we used to ride together from 1998-2000, i had a pashley (one of the very first batch) and he had this, after he died his dad gave me his old frame ...he had moved onto bmxing in 2001 and the sunn bike had been stripped and was kicking around the garage in bits, when his dad gave it to me it was covered in surface rust so i spent a week (on and off) with a bottle of polish a rag and a needle scraping it all off trying not to scratch the chrome! i will be looking for some seriously old skool parts to re-build it over the next year, any suggestions on parts??
  5. much respect to you, thats brilliant! fair play
  6. i had an inspired before i stopped riding and it was quite possible the easiest frame to ride for street! i think the geo is 1040, 385 chainstays and +20mm bb but it works out to feel similar to +10 mm bb as the wheels are smaller, spinning and bunny hops were really easy, i found i could bunny hop about a foot higher than i could on my pashley, and i ran a 90 mm stem with 17 degree rise and 2.5 inch rise azonic bars, with about 50 mm of stem stackers, really nice set up i think theres still pics on my profile actually
  7. that looks the nuts mate, im glad i sold it to a good home! black pashley forks would finish it off quite nicely if you could get some with a disc mount
  8. that bike looks the dogs bollocks matey!! i miss mine
  9. the white one looks sick!!! that is a mean spec! good work there
  10. now for sale in the classifieds!
  11. something like a 22tooth front with an 18 or 19 on the back is generally quite good...
  12. thanks for the comments guys, it rides so nice, i can bunny hop stupidly high now, my riding has improved so much in the last 2 weeks ....i know now this is in the wrong catagory but i didnt mean to post it in here, was a bit of an accident! if anyone is planning on getting one of these go for azonic revenge bars in 2.5 inch with a kore lite 3 stem (17 degree rise, 90mm long) both from crc the front end comes up so easy it is unreal!!! i love it! the reason why the rear tyre looks bigger is because it is! its a moto digger and the front is a moto rt......get one, you wont regret it!
  13. here she is, all comments/suggestions welcome, the crank is temporary - burns are on the cards in the next few months
  14. my new inspired! comments welcome (Y)

    Deng

ahh, thanks, its been quite confusing! as people have said ''i want a deng crank'' (echo/zoo!/GU) and i was under the impression it may be a stlye of component, eg: something with a front freewheel was a 'deng' component! lol cool cool, i get it now, cheers guys

    Deng

.....i have just got back into trials over this last year after a 6 year break, and im just getting together with all the latest chit chat , and i see the word DENG being used, to begin with i thought it may be a make? as people on this forum were using it in sentences like ''ive got a deng hub'' etc etc, but now i have heard it in loads of different topics and i dont now what it means!!!??? all comments welcome :$
  18. cool, well i have just ordered a hope mono trial disc, and as i do a lot of streety stuff (i ride with bmxers) i have gone for the dmr tyres, moto digger on the back, moto rt up front, i have been running moto rt's on my 26''er for street and it has been sweet, they roll really well ...i thought the digger on the rear will give it a beasty look! just got to wait untill my birthday now on the 7th to get the rest of my tarty vouchers (i have asked everyone) hahaha then i will order a black inspired fourplay......sweet as
  19. hey guys, as the title says really, quite like the look of dmr moto diggas....or maxxis 2.7's, what do you reckon? also what disc brake?? for the front that is....
  20. depends what stem you have got, and what the stack height is (the measurement between the top of the headset race to the top of the stem - where the top cap sits), if the stem has a stack height of 45mm or more and has 2 pinch bolts then this should be ok, i would run a headlock to keep it all nice and tight, if the stem starts moving when your riding then its going to be a pain.....so time for new forks...or a new stem/headset with low stack height. hope tis helps
  21. how many spoke holes???? ....
  22. as the title says.....i quite like the look of dmr dv rims, are they any good???
