  1. i agree DH tubes ***!!! super thick and the weight really doesn't make that much of a difference when compared to the puncture resistance you get. i don't think there so necessary for the front though.
  2. would helicoiling be stronger than just the alluminium screw holes, if so, they should just do that anyway. it would make more sense.
  3. claydon i think that that is just one BAD frame, its most probably that the axle holes aren't aligned properly, or at all, you might be able to get a welder to put a bit of weld in the axle hole and then grind/file it down till both of the axles holes are level... Just a thought. Dave
  4. why can't you doing anything with it? also, post pictures
  5. Hi, im going to cut down my hose soon and reading that i need a new olive, i just wanted to make sure i was going to get the right thing... is this it? if not, then what do i need? Thanks (thought i would bump it instead of making a new thread)
  6. my first ever bike was some form of universal something or other, first bike i ever bought was a saracen x-ile and my first ever trials bike got finished about 3 weeks ago was an onza woodstock, which i'm very happy with
  7. wow, cool stuff, better than i am and your only 12!!!
  8. im sorry to whoever it was but that is a video i could not possibly get tired of watching over and over, it makes me laugh everytime... as for the other vid, ouch, was he ok, what happened to him?
  9. wow, cool pics there, trials looks so much more fun when your good at it (not that it isnt already fun). looks like there are some big side hops and back wheeling going on
  10. what about the echo CNC cranks? whats the difference apart form the metal used... How much stronger are they?
  11. i mashed my crank thread for the drive side pedal yesterday on my DDG orbita crank, so i think i'm going to get one of these echo forged cranks or a truvativ crank of some sort. im not sure why it happened though, i keep everything tight and greased.
  12. EVERY FRIDAY?!?!?!? that can't be good... i never heard every friday, i didn't even know that there was one today.
  13. i haven't actually bought any used gear but i would say my worst buy would be the marzocchi gran fondo 2 forks that are going on ebay soon. i thought i wanted suspension before i had really tried rigid forks and it was a mistake.
  14. i wasn't actually sure if i landed it or not a couple of times, but just to be on the safe side i said that i didn't (i didn't want to get burnt). and hey, i was generating a lot of heat doing that, so i decided to show off my tanline
  15. ok mate thanks for the tip, i don't know why i didn't think of that , and yeah it was quite tiring doing it time after time with no rest.
  16. i see what your saying, and its nice of you to say it nicely (unlike what people were saying previously) its just that i was kind of proud and i don't often get videos taken so i though i would post it up to let people see what standard i am at. Dave
  17. well i said id get another video and i did here it is Youtube Video -> Original Video that gap is exactly the same horizontal distance as the one i was doing from the 5 pallets, but i don't quite make it. please note that it is unedited
  18. i can get onto 4 blue pallets to back wheel smoothly (IMO) and i have gotten up 3 blue and 2 uncoloured ones together (a couple inches shorter than 5 pallets), but the extra couple of inches really do make a difference, once you hit a boundary its quite hard to push that limit.
  19. yeah i know that, but what i mean is 2ft must be a bit of an exaggeration.
  20. thanks, the bike is a woodstock yes, i haven't had it built up for very long. and Ben, i think its a bit more than a 2ft gap, 2ft isnt exactly hard, if you want ill get another video later on today (if rain goes away) to see how far i can get. Dave
  21. i think i must have explained something wrong... when i said getting up the pallets i meant to the bashring and then up. and i have been meaning to buy a helmet
  22. the english with 2 grades is Language and Literature. don't really remember the differences and i don't want to, i really dislike english
  23. Youtube Video -> Original Video the gap is over 5ft and i did make it up the set of pallets a couple of times but they weren't recorded. tell me what you think. Dave
  24. maths-B English-C,C History-B Physics-B Biology-B Chemistry-C Spanish-C Geography-D RE-E i did alright i suppose
  25. ok... that was easy to read... so when you use water instead of oil, i'm guessing the leaver feels a lot lighter to pull in as well? my maggie does feel a bit sluggish.
