  1. You live in Nottingham? I'm the guy with the zoot that used to have a leeson and a green inspired and a ciguena. Anyway, get yourself down to supercycles just outside of town, they'll have one. Which part of Notts are you from?
  2. That was nuts, I wouldn't go down there for free...
  3. It IS true that it is harder to do massive riding on natural than it is in the street. However, that wasn't the question.

BEST FILM EVER!!!!! The 3D just blows you away. Fuckin' awesome!
  5. Rrrreally, what you do is wait for the bike to come back, and then figure it out then.
  6. All alu frames must be heat treated. Welding alu heats it up and causes it to become brittle. Heat-treating sort of equalises this effect, so that then the whole frame is the same in terms of strength and brittleness. Alu frames that break are either designed weakly, ridden too hard, or manufactured wrongly.
  7. I DIDN'T. Well, for christmas, I got some cool stuff. Cheers!
  8. Who validated this guy? He can't spell. This is an example of what some of us predicted will happen - people who shouldn't really have been validated are reading this and comparing it to their own low standards, and then voting, which ends up with lower and lower standards.
  9. Nearly everyone seems to use disc brakes, so as 24" bikes are designed to use 26" forks, that's sorted. Forks can easily be made with 24" rim brakes anyway, but the frames must come first. Rim-wise, there's still a good choice now. Tyre-wise, there's not such a good choice but if you want grip, use the high rollers. I use one on the rear, I don't feel any particular disadvantage for the weight. I do however notice that it's got more grip than my swampthing (which is another choice), and that it's harder to pinch as well.
  10. Basically, yeah, but I'd go for shorter CS, maybe 370 or 375.
  11. It definately looks better than when I saw it, lol. Get some pics of it outside.
  12. I would like to see a Limey 24". The limey frame looks f**king good, so that's the frame's looks already sorted. One point people don't seem to have considered... if you price it right, then for new starters who can't make their mind up between mod and stock, there's a middle ground from which they can decide, 'oh, i want it to be easier to throw around' or 'I want a bike that's better for rolling up stuff'. I for one like 24", because I hate the way mods have to have rediculous stems to make them rideable. This results in this horrible sensation when you turn the bars. Now, I like stocks, and a couple of times I've thought about making the switch up to 26", but whenever I ride a stock, it feels slow and difficult to move around in comparison. With a 24", you lose very little ability to roll around but the whole bike is much more responsive. In short, a 24" trials bike would feel like a stock but without the sensation of lugging a whole tree around with you. Onza, you said it yourselves that you produced the zoot frame and now they're all out of stock. This shows that there must be a demand for that kind of bike.
  13. Sort-of tempted to do this to mine.
  14. 1060, 375, +45, 72 It's the gemoetry I suggested too, lol. I'm within the market for a trials 24", and I know of two others, maybe three. Maybe +50 BB, lol.
  15. Hell no, I've not played any of them.
  16. They're sick when de-stickered, and not on an orange bike.
  17. In this thread? Also, nickname. Who the f**k is it anyway?
  18. Not Dan Ko! I really wanted a travel cluedo as well...
  19. I quite like the colour, but I don't like this full build that much. The colour doesn't allow for many choices for colour schemes, but if it was built with all black parts it could look pretty sick.
