I did it... The way I see it... if I ground it my current pads would work better, and then when I get phatpads it should be fairly dull by then. I ground it and could still manual using it. I try to use it as little as possible.
If you're thinking that you might be safe because you might have a different one, that's not true. They're all virtually the same, if not in some cases exactly the same, and they all snap.
Pretty cool. I like the way he explained part 3, and had all the necessary pictures so that a cynic would be able to believe that, which is exactly why a cynic would disbelieve part 3. Clever, clever guy.
1) Get 4mm allen key 2) Undo both bolts on the clamps for the side that needs adjusting. Not all the way, just a little bit 3) Adjust it 4) Do it back up
JUST now fitted a tensile booster - it's only on 2-bolt at the mo, until I get the threads sorted and I can feel confident about taking the brake completely off. Looking to get an angle grinder and some phat-pads in the near future, too.
