  1. Thought about this before... What if the classifieds section was an extra? Members can't use it unless they register to that as well. In order to register you must fill in details - address, home phone no, mobile no - which are visible to people you've got a transaction open with. I agree with the other post back a few pages, all items should be sent tracked. I send the tracking number the minute I get it, this lets the person recieving know firstly you've posted it, and secondly, when you posted it. I ask people I'm buying from to do this. It's disappointing when they don't do it, but I've not had anything go wrong yet. It's peace of mind.
  2. That's what I was getting at, why bother being fiddly about weight if you can't build a properly light bike, concentrate on building a good one instead.
  3. Yes. It's here. They'll probably let you try one out.
  4. Fag, go with the BB7 or the saint you're worshipping at the moment. Unless you've got the money to get the NOWAR bars and sky frame and ridiculously light bits and bobs a strict weight mission is unnecessary. What was it, 300 grams? Don't ride in a hoodie and ride in shorts, that'll save you the weight to run that saint brake.
  5. Trials bikes are pretty strong if you think about it, because a lot of trials revolves around static moves. So the force is channeled back into the bike rather than being redirected into a rolling motion.
  6. It won't work with a 20" wheel, it's a 19" wheel frame!
  7. You need to put in the effort to make sure nothing goes wrong. Like keeping this reciept of postage in your wallet, or taking a picture of it and uploading that as proof without needing to be asked for it.
  8. Why do you have this attitude? You claim to care for the person you're selling to... but the way you're coming across, you're not going to get anyone else trying to buy from you. You're destroying your own market.

Screw no handers, it can't even get going after stopping! I am well aware of how much of an achievement it is to make a robot ride a bike at all.
  10. I think £300 is pushing it. £200 is better. It's not complete, for a start.
  11. He's a cock as well, yeah. Can't stand that f**ker.
  12. He told me to make a video in my sink. It really hurt, it got right in there and got me. I can't believe how someone could be so hurtful.
  13. If it says 'posted image' and you're bothered, go into the post using the reply button, and copy the url and look. It does that to me sometimes. It's a picture of Marion Cotillard sat on a stool, anyway.
  14. Or alternatively, get a ruler and measure across the widest bit.
  15. Did you try it when you were thinking of ways to raise your fourplay's BB height?
  16. What's with that comment? You want to know if something works... one way to do it is to go outside and try it. Nothing significantly bad is likely to happen - you'll know as you're tightening it up if it's going to break, and you'll know the second you try and turn the bars if the headset will work. Nobody knows how long that setup will work - no-one's done it - so you won't get an answer for that.
  17. Try it, let us know if it works.
  18. It would be cool to see pics of the real life thing built up.
  19. Cut a slot in it with a dremel, bring it out in pieces.
  20. I'm tired, I overlooked that It still doesn't mean it ever worked on all three speeds at the front. Can you pull the cranks towards one side? Edit: Put it this way, the mech is stopping on something - it's either the screw (but you've wound that out), the hole the screw screws through or some other kind of stop. If it's either of those, then it's been made so that it won't go further than that, so unless you bend that stop, it's not going to go past it. If the one-piece crank can be fiddled with so that it sticks more out of one side than the other, then that'll be the same as a longer BB.
