Shows the ultimate in cinematography for MTB videos, I imagine the budget is not as big as you think, but the collective (which i own) certainly is the BEST mtb video available to purchase, but by the looks of things its about to change and they will surpass themselves. My hope is that they include ryan leech again cos his section was inspiring, very good, very technical. If you buy one non-trials dvd, buy roam or the collective, or just buy two and get both, they will be excellent, and its good music choice as well. Cheers ben

PC users have been urged to scan their computers before 3 February to avoid falling victim to a destructive virus. On that date the Nyxem virus is set to delete Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Acrobat files on infected machines. Nyxem is thought to have caught out many people by promising porn to those who open the attachments on e-mail messages carrying the virus. read rest of article here

Try-all BB is a very similar BB to the truvativ BB except truvativ has a differnt tool required, the Try-all BB is standard shimano fitting. Thus the tool will be more readily available or you will already have one. Other than that they are pretty much the same BB (IMO). and for the money i would rather pay for the truvativ, but remember to get the GIGAPIPE DH version, although if you go to tartybikes or similar shop then you will get a try-all bb easily. another 2p

not a very useful reply there like, my top three choices would be 1. Truvativ Gigapipe DH - strong, lasts for a long time, although is £50 and requires truvativ tool to fit....which is £12 - www.wiggle.co.uk 2. Echo 2006 BB - Lighter than gigapipe and seems as strong, longevity is yet to be seen, but is £57 Also requires special tool. Which i £10 - www.tartybikes.co.uk 3. FSA Platinum BB - Lighter than truvativ, not as strong, but about half the price, and uses standard shimano fitting tool (also compatible with race face and most other BB's) - www.tartybikes.co.uk I have run all three and currently the ECHO bb is my favourite, although if you go to bash or slip to bash/bb shell alot you may bang it which could lead to premature failure. thats my two pence

Duncan dont forget to mention those rocks we found last night to kev (well the concrete blocks) and to try see if they can be put in the quarry. Thanks to all who attended, observed, organised, it was a good day i rode balls but nonetheless had fun. Bring on this road trip sometime like

thats a pretty harsh thing to say, yes the riders in road cycling use some drugs, but to say that you have to have taken drugs better than the next rider is the stupidest thing i have heard. YES they take drugs, and im sure Lance's chemotherapy certainly didnt help him win the tour 7 times on the trot. Please dont just re-iterate something you have read in some cycling magazine, much of the road cycling magazines are rumour mills just like the sun or similar newspaper.

from google language translation Fédé withdrew me my licence for a too LOW CORTISOL rate following stresses and displacements. They indeed supposed that this fall was related to a medicamentous catch of or my revocation of licence throughout complementary test. After these new tests they saw well that this fall was completely natural. The "escapes" come very from me which sought to explain to all my irritation compared to its multiple tests. Nobody would be well-informed if I had not spoken about it. Then that was deformed and cortisol was transformed into hématocrite... I will quickly send the mail of fédé specifying that my results are normal and coming from stresses with repetition and of many voyages. Moreover I do not appreciate this rumour at all, if "antidopage" wants to speak to me about it: that it calls me and I would explain him personally but I suppose that there prefers to remain anonymous. vincent hermance

I dont do taps that often, i was trying around 52" and wasnt going fast enough, but its just bruised (although not visibly) and hurts like hell every time it gets caught. I checked my sidehop technique and i usually as do most people catch my bar on the way up and never had the pain before. These bloody high bb bikes are hard to tap ill give it some rest in france and it should be reet i imagine anyone else got any thoughts
-
So i have been trying to get bigger with my taps recently, and have found that i now have a point accross my thigh that hurts anytime i try to tap. The problem is that my right thigh is catching my bar when i tap, obviously if i get the the position right and i make the tap it doesnt hurt, but its those where you tap wrong and only land in a hook position and it bangs my thigh uber bad. Now i have been trying to stay off the taps, but now it hurts when i hit the spot on my thigh when im sidehopping (when im kicking up the wall) Please note there was no time inbetween these times where the pain went away, this has been since last sunday. Im going snowboarding / to see gf in france on sunday, till thursday (with no bike) do you reckon the rest time will allow the pain to go away or do you have any other thoughts as to the problem. Cheers for any advice Ben

Righty, as your coming from inverness you should come down the A82 to fort augustus. As your about to arrive in fort augustus there is a right hand turn, take this and follow the road around until you arrive at another right hand turn (next to a skatepark/playing field), follow this road until you reach a house with a track to the side of it (which has a huge metal gate there) then follow this until you reach the quarry on your left hand side. it will be sign posted with little red flags stuck into the ground. in fact ill edit you a wee map from multi map cheers ben

So there are actually trials riders in scotland you know.... Its good for us because for most of us our nearest competition is in Yorkshire, and from abredeen where i stay thats a 6hour drive (just there). Also the test event at fort william this year was very popular. It was a good atmosphere mixed with the DH world Cup, so I have no doubt that it will be popular this year as well. Its also going to be the middle of summer so it will be warm and dry You should get up here, its well worth it.
