  1. If the police won't do anything take a screwdriver with you(as a tool for the bike... if police should wounder) and go for the kneecaps. If they are big, go for the knees. Kick them sideways or backwards or what else you can do. Not telling you to do this but it's feels good to imagine.
  2. Wow! The crank flip at the end was really nice. Some of the small jumps on the top of the stones was also amazing, it looked almost unnatural.

    Chris Video 1

There was to many slowmotion clips. Cut down the clips and remove the irrelevant parts. The slowmotion on every clip just made me think "come on, hurry, I don't have time for this". The music was not suitable to this video. You should get a sound track that has the same tempo as the riding. And you don't need music at all because the sound of the brakes and the bike is good enough. The riding was OK but the editing made it look less good.
  4. Isn't it called "Wheel swap"? I did practice on it a little bit today when it stopped raining. And I think I start to understand it but it's still far away from success.
  5. I have a disc brake front. Not super but I think it's good enough. But I will try a few new things that I didn't know before next time I ride and see how it goes.
  6. Ok, thanks. I think this will help me a bit.
  7. Hello! When you jump onto a small obstacle and first land with the frontwheel and then swing the bike over to the backwheel on the same spot as the frontwheel was. How do you do it? I've been trying this for a while now and it seems impossible for me. I've been training on flat ground and curb edges. But I only get the backwheel half way. If I let the bike go a little side ways it gets a little easier but still almost impossible. Is there anything important that I should think of when doing this?
  8. Haha, the girls like it and I get attention without having to do any spectacular jumps.
  9. I've got the parts today. And now it's finished.

    Knee Pains..

Don't ride until then, it could be something thats just needs a little resting. And if you keep riding, that resting time could be a lot longer. Or you are getting old and the body can't keep up. Take it easy until you know for sure what it is.
  11. I've had my Inspired for almost a week now and compared to my GU that feels a little easier to get up on things using the front wheel. Back wheel distance jumps is the same for me. But jumps sideways landing on the front wheel and swing the back wheel in line with the front gets a little shorter because of the shorter wheel base. Thats the differences that I've noticed. But it's worth those things if you want to have fun when riding but for making a section without any points it's not the best one I think. Edit: I haven't ridden my GU since I got my Inspired and I don't think that I will do for a while, if ever.
  12. I didn't know that trial with bicycle existed, and I wanted to do something else that no other could do in my town. So i started learn to hold the balance and swing around with locked brakes and hopping on the rear wheel with my full suspension bike. Then it was a kid that told me about bicycle trials and I checked it out on the internet and found a forum from Poland with some vids and started to look for a trial bike. Now I've been riding trials for almost 2 years and spent way to much money on bicycles.
  13. It's on the way. The front brake and and the seat is ordered from CRC but a few parts was not in stock so they will come soon.
  14. I have put some stickers on now but I took the small ones. It makes a big difference. There are two small holes on both dropouts but they doesn't seem to be for disk brakes if theres not any adapter that fits it. The tires feels very smooth to ride with. They are so thick that I can run on quite low pressure and it felt like I was floating away on the ground. So different from my other bike. So far everything feels so much better with this bike.
  15. Sounds like some people have a little gay phobia.
  16. Not every one like pink but I think that every guy have a little girlish side. I was thinking about making an "Hello Kitty" emblem to put on the head tube and then maybe paint some flowers on the frame.
  17. I had to modify the brake booster because the frame is 95mm and the booster 100mm as minimum. But now it fits good. Ok, here comes a pic of the whole bike. But the front brake and the saddle is on the way so I just borrowed the disk brake from my other bike. I was out and ride it an hour today and wow. I can do everything that I did with my other bike but better and the street tricks are much easier. It's also much more comfortable to ride. I also switched the fork with my GU because the echo fork fitted better with the CK headset and vice versa.
  18. I got the parts needed to make it rideable today and wow. What a difference to ride with this one. Everything feels so easy. I haven't tried highe sidehops yet but it's so much more fun. Pics will come tomorrow I hope.

    Grinds?

http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=54678 Check my post in that thread for a little different type of grinding.
  20. Build some muscels. Ok, you will get heavier but the bike will be lighter compared to you.
  21. You can hurt yourself on side hops! I have smashed my fingers between the handlebars and the edge. But the worst I did was halfway dislocated my shoulder. It clicked out a little bit and back and it hurt so bad. I jumped up, didn't get up with the wheels landed on my side up on the obstacle rolled over to my back and had my hand under the handlebars while the bike felled down and pulled my arm backwards against my shoulders moving ability(grammar?).
  22. I've been thinking of not to get to much. But I think it will be a good balance and a nice flow evenly spread through the bike. In euro it is about €1800.
  23. Ok, I'm currently a student and have a little tight budget so I had to forget about Chris King and and Echo brakes and such bling bling luxury. According to my calculations this bike will cost a little more then 1'400£ The color theme will be black with a little pink. Rims, front brake, pedals and handle locks will be in pink. I'm getting the parts from four different places so all parts will not come at the same day so it may take a few weeks before it's done. But until then I can show you what parts I've got so far. I've got the first package from Trialmarkt in Germany and it did cost almost 300£. It feels so hard to have just a few parts and waiting for the rest to come before I can do anything.
  24. Some people are born to do it and others not. I made about 3 pallets after a few tries for the first time ever doing side hops. That was with my Onza t-bird. I did them to the right, soon I was up on 4 pallets after only... two weeks I think(from when I started riding trial). Forward was a little scary because of the higher speed but using the bashguard i made 8 pallets. After 2 months I bought a 26" and I don't remember when but now I sidehop to the left and can't do more then 2 pallets to right but I do about 6 to the left. Forward I don't make more then 4 pallets. Start with 1 or 2 pallets and try both sides and see which one works best. I think it's more difficult to stand on the rearwheel and jump up, I don't get side movement so i stand on both wheel and making a half pedal rotation up to the rearwheel(no hop up to the rearwheel) directly jump up and land with the front wheel first. I have a little speed as I did a half pedal rotation and I'm using that speed to brake with the frontwheel and lifting the rearwheel up. You may not have found your way to do it yet so don't get stuck on one technique, try different things.
