I hate these cheapo good bike look alikes. The shite kids buy for £150 and wonder why they fall appart! But I also hate GT's and GT as a company for not honering the warranty of thier Zaskars....2 head tubes coming off. And Trek...well no, dont really hate them, just gutted after snapping a chainstay dirtjumping!

Sounds about right! Some days Ill ride superb...proper good, the next Ill ride like a real flid.

f**k no! I dont care how cold, windy or hot it is...but after slipping on wet concrete and detatching a rib from my sternum, breaking 2 fingers, a toe, splitting my helmet and not remembering anything from the previous week, Id rather shut my left bollock in a car door than ride in the wet now!

Now Ive found loads of threads on how to etc, but none like this... Does it really make that much difference? Ive not had any problems with my rear brake, on this bike, or any of my other bikes... Will it really improve my riding? I guess Im just dubious about taking a grinder to a mint rim!

Not that far from me then! Been street riding in T Wells before! Lemmie know when you wanna go out...Trails or Street style! Or if there's any dirt jumps that way, im in!

Hope all the way. Im a believer in 'if its not broke dont touch it'...and my Hopes have lasted me 4 years and still going on my Dirt bike. No play in the bearings, no slippage on the rear....top stuff. And they have had an utter beating.

Hey guys! Just introducing myself.... I used to ride trials 10odd years ago...back before you could buy a pre-built bike. So it was build your own! I had a 12.5" GT Zaskar, with P2's, Mavic 121's (anyone remember them!) and XT V's (Mags cost a fortune back then). I rode that for a couple of years till the head tube went twisting off a back to back phone box.... Been riding dirt since then....got 2 bikes....a Retro '98 DMR with '99 Z1 BAMS running 24" rims and a Revell which im building up at the mo, again 24". Bumped into a trials guy at my local trails the other day, and the bug grew again... So, Ive literally just got back from picking up Bretolls Orange Zero! Cant wait till tomorrow night to have a ride! Look forward to being a part of the forums! Law
