  1. I had a set of 175's on my DMR and it was fine. Then when I went 24" I kept catching them round berms and stuff....then i tore the headtube off! haha The Revell Ive got to replace it has a much higher BB, so fingers crossed, itll solve that!
  2. hahahahaha I tried ebay for these, but came up blank
  3. Looks alright. How long are the cranks though Jeesus!!!! If it was mine, Id lower to DJ's to 80mm.....but hey, thats just me!
  4. Strongest part? Do what?!?! The bolt that hold the seat post clamp shut is pretty strong as are the pins in the pedals. WTF? You make no sense at all. As for geo....there isnt a 'best'. You a lanky git or dwarf? Like high BB or low? Like flickability or stability? It goes on......
  5. I dont give a shit what mine weighs. Id rather ride a tank, yet know I can bin it 10ft in the air, that it'll slam to the floor and that I can pick it up and carry on riding.
  6. Thats a ridiculous price! I paid £250 for mine with top spec too. Yes old skool bikes aren't as strong, but then the technology wasn't around the to make them super thin, super light and super strong. I love mine. It rides a treat on street. And Ive even taken it over dirt jumps.
  7. Right...Ive just had this b*****d put into my shin bone.... Now Ive been hearing 2 different stories about having plates removed, or left in. Anyone got any advice?
  8. Nope never. And Ive rung them hundreds of times! Always been amazingly helpful.
  9. Yeah, I got one. Superb bike. Wouldnt swap it for anything!
  10. If my knee is healed by then, Ill come on up. Not sure if ill be able to walk by then, let alone ride, but we'll see.
  11. Tops pics there! *shudders of the thought of riding in the wet after last years crash*
  12. Alternator belt for sure. No need to replace it, it just needs tightening. A 2 second job.
  13. Yer, locktite. If not, a new set of bolts and loctite will sort it.
  14. What do I hate? People who think a shit bike means a shit rider. I loved pulling up at my trails with my (what looks like) falling apart 10 year old DMR, getting snotty looks then pulling a superman over the set. f**king plebs. Secondly Injuries.....specially this b*****d Im waiting to heal......
  15. Saleen S7 all the way. Affordable....my old MK1 Golf turbo that ran 249bhp
  16. Errrm, easy choice in my eye! Good luck buddy...got any pics of it?
  17. Headtube came off once Snapped a chainstay A Oddessey Sharkbite pedal (old skool) Cables Rims Chains Most bones in my hands and feet Various helmets Levers Various mechs Various forks Loads more, but cant remember!
  18. There's a 11.5" GT Zaskar on ebay going for about £50 at the mo. Perfect! I rode one years ago before you could buy a complete trials rig, and it rode lovely!
  19. That is the funniest thing Ive ever heard. Bell end. The initial problem sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders....lack of spark in 1 chamber. If your not that mechannicly minded...its gonna be a toughie....especially as its intermitant now. Is it dizzy or coil pack? Id still go down the route of pulling a ht lead off and plug out at a time and have a look. See if they are wet....make sure you put them back in the right place though! to be honest, a new set of plugs and leads wont cost more than £40 from Halfrauds...prob the easiest solution to start with.
  20. The 'city centre' is a big place! Leister Square, Soho, Covent Garden at night are all places to see. Oxford Street too
  21. Try adding your old dear if you live at home with them. Before I moved out (thousands of years ago) adding her and my old man bought it down by nearly £200!
  22. You know you need a spare wheel BY LAW on the continent? And 1st aid kit, spare bulb etc...The tyre laws are different too. How old are you? You cant drive unless you have 2 years driving experience or 21 ( I THINK) Ive done loads of road trips...round the UK and Europe. Your best bet food wise is to NOT buy anything at restaurants, take aways etc, but do a mega food shop at Tesco's before and cook your own grub en-route. Etap rooms are ok at 30 euro's a night, and I think there is a cheaper option where you share a shower with other guests. That £600 fuel....Id round that up some...to nearer a grand. Good luck though, and I hope it goes well
