    Roof Drop Crash

Check out this roof drop crash. Matthew Holdsworth is rather good at crashing but this is one of his better ones!

    Shoes

You cant go wrong with a pair of 5tens.
  4. His Ti BB snapped on a 2.5 meter drop, I'm not sure if it was a reset or not.
  5. I have a box of about 100 Dare2B beanies sat next to me for riders and helpers Don't forget to enter the events just under 3 weeks away now.
  6. The entry form can now be down loaded from the EBTC web site, link below. http://www.ebtc.net/ click the link on the bottom right of the page to get the form. We are still waiting for answers regarding a brakeless class but hopefully we will know in a week or so. Get your forms in asap... Cheers, Ben.
  7. Hey up Kev. I think the venue is the best the UK has to offer, there is a good mix of natural and man made riding and it caters for all levels of riding. It is a long way south for you though, Guildford, Surrey is the nearest big town. Its well worth the trip down if you can gather a few people together to come in one car / mini van! Ben.
  8. Ok the brakeless question has been asked, I will let you know if its a yes or no. If we are able to have brakeless riders a seperate class will be created. Ali, will you be back on a bike in time? Ben.
  9. The 2011 British Bike Trial Championships will be held at Hook Woods on Sunday 25th September. Dare 2B are the title sponsors of the event and without their help and support the event would not be running! so a huge thanks to them. Fun and exciting sections will be made which will suite all styles of riding, there WILL be a course suitable for your ability whether your new to trials or slightly more practised. Entry forms will be available by the end of the week. There will be a FREE Dare2b beanie for everyone that enters Camping is available at the venue for the Saturday night only. It would be nice to see some new faces at this event and I hope all of the regular competition riders will come and show their support. If you plan of coming to the event please add to this topic. Cheers, Ben.
  10. 5K! Gosh wheres he coming from? Good luck with it all, they all seem like pretty easy records to break so I would'nt worry to much.
  11. I have a Bjorn frame for sale. I was going to ride one of these but then decided to ride a Manus as it was a little shorter. The frame is for sale on EBAY, check out the link below. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Rockman-Bjorn-20-trials-frame-4-onza-koxx-riders-/200578820100?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item2eb36de804
  12. I'd say your pedals are in a better position than Joe's..
  13. Rockman have made this prototype 26" frame using hydroformed tubing. The frame was initally made for Neil Tunnicliffe before he decided to ride for ZOO in 2011. Photos can be found here Ben.
  14. I have a 26" version of this frame at home. It was made for Neil Tunni before he decided to stay with Zoo. The frame looks pretty cool and I think its nice to see something a little different but I'm sure Ali will disagree....... I believe the frames have just been made for testing pruposes, Rockman wanted to see how tubes shaped like this would hold up. As for "Rockman being a rude company" they're pretty busy over in Singapore and just because they dont reply to every kid and his dog that ask for sponsorship it does not make them rude. Rockman isnt a massive company and they do their best to reply to emails promptly.

    Fans/slate

I rode the Slate 2 all last year and its a really nice frame to ride by far the best frame iv had. I have never been on a Fans so im not sure how they ride.
  16. You cant go wrong with a Rockman. Tarty will have the new slate3 frames up tomorrow and I would recommend one of those.
  17. Im having my 2nd open weekend of the winter this coming weekend (18th / 19th Dec) There is a selections of things to ride for everyone no matter how good you are. Doors open at 10 and I plan on finishing at 5 ish, its £10 a day or £15 for both. Closest post code I have is SY9 5DW Any questions or if you want to come pm me or post them up here, if you intend on coming I need to know just so I have an idea of numbers (I know about all you local boys) Ben.
  18. I have been running these bars for a while and I really like them. I have a new set that I'd be willing to sell for £85 posted, if you want them PM me.
  19. Iv done it... felt ok, had the control of a 24" on the back and the bashing power of the 26" on the front...
  20. Might be worth waiting for the NEW Rockman freewheel to come out! Pretty loud and loads better than any other freewheel Iv used!
  21. Sooo funny reading all of this. At the end of the day the pad is not going to improve your riding that much! If half the trials riders on here spent as much time riding their bike as they do setting up their brakes they would be a whole load better....... Just use whatever pads you have laying around and get on with it. The rim does make a massive difference, people should say what rim they have as well as telling us how amazing or poop their pads are.. Im running Rock Blues on a grind that’s 2 months old (Dob rim) and it still works perfectly well......
  22. I was riding those rocks with Steve-O last Saturday. When were you there.
