  2. You could wait a short while for the new Rockman Slate2 frame to come out. I received mine today and it looks really really nice. Ben.
  3. Just got home and a box containing my nice new Slate2 frame had arrived, pics tomorrow. Ben.
  4. First, I would like to thank Onza for all their support throughout 2009. It was a difficult year for me but they stood by me through injury and ill health. I have always liked the products Rockman produce so when they approached me with an offer of support for 2010 it made my decision easier. From our conversations I know they plan to produce a greater range of frames and components in 2010, I will be assisting with the specification and testing of many items including a new 26” frame. I hope to receive the first prototype in the next 7-10 days, pictures to follow. Mods – please move this to news. Ben.
  5. There is plenty to go at for all riders, whatever your level. I have a pallet truck so if a gap is to big its easy to make it smaller or if something is to high it will be easy to move something along side to make it easier. Ben.
  6. Hi everyone, I plan on having my first open weekend on the 23rd / 24th January. Rider numbers will be limited to 10 per day (you can ride both days if you want) If you would like to come please PM me to reserve your place. If there is enough demand I will be up for opening the following weekend too (30th / 31st ) More info in the next few days. Ben.

  9. Drop me a PM dude and we and talk dates / times. Rode in there tonight with Sam Oliver, Ian had the camera out so hopefully there will be a new video in a few days or so.
  10. Winter weather – the trials riders worst enemy. So as I can continue riding over the winter months I have acquired the use of an industrial unit. I have constructed some obstacles including, just over 100 pallets, assembled into different shapes and configurations. A large cotton reel, some railway sleepers and a log. I am collecting stuff all the time so the list is likely to expand. I will be getting some thin logs / planks of wood soon to make a balance beam section. The obstacles so far are perfect for practising taps, hooks, gaps, drop gaps, up to fronts and side hops. There is something to challenge riders of all levels. The unit is located in Bishops Castle, Shropshire, SY95DW. There’s clean toilets and a kitchen on site too. I plan on having a few open weekends where anyone can come and ride. It will be open from 10am through to 6pm (maybe later if anyone has any energy left) There will be an admission charge to cover overheads. PM me for details. There are a few clips in the video section to give you an idea of what its like. Ben. (Please move to news)

  12. Pretty sure Dave will be on here later to tell everyone the pool table story and that the spacers were never used. I helped him change the bb at the comp and there was defo no spacers on the bb when we took it out.
  13. Not bad for Kerr really. He was riding better when he was on the ZHI I think.
  14. WOOOOOOOOOO Shrewsbury!!!! Nice vid mate looking smooth as ever, you still thinking of moving to 26? Ben.
  15. Good little vid Nick. Had a really good time at the barn Sat night, rode till about 11! When its wet, cold and dark outside there's better place to ride.
  16. Rode at this place last winter, its perfect if you dont fancy the rain and cold shitty weather
  17. Wicked vid jonny! The drunk guy with no shirt at castle park makes me laugh sooo much.
  18. Looking good dude! Take me to that place when I come over in a few weeks, pleeeeeze
  19. Rode my 20" Limey quite a bit this year and it rides really nice, cant see the dropouts cracking to be honest.
  20. If the delegate (Mr Rew) had turned up like he said he was going to Sam would have been 3rd, but there was no one here to fight his cause. Little sam rode really well and to get 3rd place was a wicked result but thanks to the british delegate he is coming home without a medal. Will there be any BIU riders in 2010??? I doubt it! The whole thing was a complete balls up!!!!!!!!!!!!!
