    Guitar Noob..

Haha, basically I've just got a guitar(electric).. I know all the strings and stuff and in the proccess of learning chords.. Anyway, I've got guitar pro, but I'm running out of songs to attempt to play.. Any suggestions?
  2. Kevin, doesn't your local bikeshop sell Chris King products? Well cheap too? Or is that just me? Take it down there and get them to sort it out..
  3. No, you place the brake into a bath/bucket, you undo both of the bolts (lever and piston), then you cover the hole on the piston and pull brake in, then remove your thumb/finger from the hole and let go of the lever and so on. If your brake has been bled with oil, keep going till ALL of the oil and air is out. Look in the wiki section. Ok, brakes just been bled, seems fine. I'll report back when it starts to go shite again. I think danny is right, I do have a slow leak. How can I check? I've looked other the break thuroughly(sp?) and can't see anything. Where is the most likely place for the leak to be?
  4. Theres one next to the hose going into the lever in a little hole, the other is on the piston.
  5. What are you basing your facts on? Also, sort your spelling out. Vee's are by far superior, sd7 lever, Ultimate arms, slick cable, heatsink reds with a harsh grind is stupidly good.
  6. Thats the exact answer I wanted. May buy a heatsink bleed kit . Thanks Joe
  7. Mines been fine.. Although, i'm going to take it out to be sure.
  8. Nope . Its not leaking, well not as i can see..
  9. So recently I've been running a water bleed due to me not having a syringe, but, I've found myself having to rebleed it every couple of weeks due to the brake pulling to far in. Its not my pads, there set up perfect. Could it be down to the fact my TPA is fecked? Or is it just I'm bleeding wrongly? To water bleed I: Unscrew the bleed screws on both pistons under water. Hold the hole on the leaver hole(master cyclinder?). Pump the brake then realease the my thumb from the leaver hole and let go of leaver. Continue. Then after about 1 week of riding it starts to become wank. Help?
  10. Haha, you basher. Looks really nice though, that vee sounds stupidly powerful .
  11. Nice riding! Jeez are your brakes annoying, its like a lil' squeek .

    My New Track

Tis Awesome! I love it. Bassy as f*ck.
  13. The bearing number is 6903RS. I tried googleing it and nothing came up.
  14. Does anybody know where i can get replacements? Will the profile hub shell bearings work? Can't remember the name, it has RS at the end though. Any help appreciated Joe.
  15. Of course not.. I'm not exactly great myself. Give me a pm if you fancy a ride sometime. Joe
  16. Im 15, live in Frinton, know it? You should tag along to some of the clacton rides..
  17. How would you torch 'a' flat? Surely you'd kill loads of innocent people just to torch one persons flat?
  18. Wow, that is fit. Are you going to attempt to go any lighter? The colours look really nice together, i really like the white spokes too, there something different. Might have to buy one of these frames. Joe
  19. KHE Collapses are amazing! Just got mine today, I had to take 10 links out though. Im not sure what else to say, but if the chain has stretched that much then you should look at buying a new 'un.
  20. Pony Up - Minus The Bear Oppp Changed now Osmosos - Malegoat
  21. XC ting or hebo team trials.
  22. Ok right, from experience, buy secondhand bikes, maybe an Onza... Check ebay most nights till something that takes your fancy comes up. Unless your mega tall, get a mod, due to them being smaller and easier to flick around makes them a hell of a lot easier to learn on. With tools the essentials are Allen keys, adjustable spanner, tyre levers etc. Look at the fittings on the bike and buy tools for them. Shin pads, gloves and a Helmet are all good ideas, Don't try and save money by buying a cheap helmet.. it may just save your head one day. I would recommend and Met or Giro helmet, there pretty light and cool, they also fit on your head nicely. Specalist parts are quite common in trials so I'll go through most of them. Freewheel - It's basically a moving cog, you use these with a fixed hub, there not like your normal bike where the chain stays still. Freewheels are used by many riders due to them being light and responsive. Freehubs - Freehubs are used on most normal bikes, except in trials there alot stronger and engage quicker compared the normal ones. They are known for being more reliable than freewheels. Magura Brakes - Most riders use these, they are hydraulicly powered and give immense power and hold. They are perfect for trials. Another nice feature of these brakes is that you can bleed them using most fluids, for example, water. Drilled Rims - Basically all trial riders use these, they have circles or squares cnc'd out of them to save weight. Grind - To enhance braking performance most riders grind their rims using an Angle Grinder. If I have forgotten anything I'm sure the other forum users will inform you on any other bits and pieces. Also, take a look at www.tartybikes.co.uk or www.trials-uk.co.uk Joe
  23. Beast, what was that on your tyre? Paint? Mint riding .

  25. Nah i don't need it, might go see if the Volvo garage will do it . If not then I'll try all these methods .
