  1. Big point there! Whenever i used to go down the skatepark on my Pitbull, all my bmx mates had a go and couldn't get on with the geo of it, and these things are now considered pretty old in trials now. What would someone from another discipline, or someone from the general public think getting onto a 1100wb +60 tgs-mobile? Same with my 609, although it feels like a 'normal' bike to me, most other people from outside of trials think it's strange and can't get on with it. The days of people looking at trials riding and trying it on their MTBs are well over in my opinion, and anyone just having a go on a modern trials bike to see if they like it is going to be put off by the sheer strangeness of it. It's a big shame as i think it's going to hugely hinder the sport in the future, with a drop in people taking it up.
  2. You know the walls under the Mellenium Bridge in London? On the St Paul's side? Spent a good hour or two playing on them, was the best riding i've had... ever.
  3. I want little stuff to dick about on. And sloped walls.
  4. Yeah, got the wrong topic I don't mind, well up for the usual places.
  5. Where, when and how the f**k are we getting there?
  6. A disco doesn't count there, Jardo All about the Series'! I think Chandler's got the nail square in the face though, with regard to the whole horses for courses thing. SJ's are surprisingly good off-road (even better when they're not yours, speaking from experience) But they will always have that stigma attached to them no matter what gets done to 'em.
  7. I think it's more that the price has been rising steadily, and people are becoming gradually less willing to take part as they have to start shelling out more money, for no real gain. As for the children comment, you what!? I'd most definitely fall into that section and would guarantee that the frame would get to and from me, i'd ride it, do what you asked down to the letter, as would an awful lot of other very trustworthy, bloody good riders (look at Sam Oliver, for example - i'm not comparing myself to him 'cos i'm, quite frankly, atrocious on a bike these days) Just because someone's young doesn't mean they're any less valuable to you, or any more likely to send the frame via carrier pigeon.
  8. What's wrong with safe-end? Plenty of scope, just gotta look for new things and get creative.
  9. Twas sarcasm, babe Yeah, mine slip. Alot. Good clean and some... will sort it.
  10. Balance is over-rated, Andrew. Brake's getting there, just put new bars on with uber rise, it feels like a mod.
  11. Look into a series 3 landy, cheap as f**k, really easy to find, cheap to maintain, good laugh! Put some decent tyres on and it'll be pretty damn good off-road, too
  12. Natty's gay mate. Nah, i'll probably be out Need to sort my brake out, first.
  13. The 101? It's not mine. Belongs to a very good friend, i work on it when i can in return for love and as much help as I need on mine The 1(i wish)/2/2a will go in the garden 'til next year, and get pimped in the process. Hehe, if you've got somewhere to park it it's brilliant! Not hugely long, just rather tall. My mate would hold onto it, but his mum's trying to kill him for bringing it home, and the two Series 1's need money. No MOT as it's been off the road for a few years, but general consensus is that it'll pass easily when it's had the last few things done to it, chassis is brilliant, engines great, suspensions all good, everything's a winner, just needs some time and love. No tax either, but i think tax is around £160-180 p.a. Matt
  14. Sorry, forgot the hammer and chisel approach
  15. Basically, the 80" and the 86" need money spending on them, and my mate can't really afford to keep all three of them. I'll get a full list of things when I get back from school, has V5, no mot, not sure on tax. Structually it's mint, had new rear cross put on it, the engine is brilliant, body's great, just needs a little bit of love.
  16. You can give it a quick service without a hub tool, but you wont be able to get the internals out and give it a full clean out
  17. Pedro the mighty 101 is for sale £2500ono if anyone wants it. On the plus side, i've been informed of a '62 ex military, totally original 2a going cheap which i'm gonna go have a butchers at soon. Sweet.

  19. I was being sarcastic, Nick Just get out and ride, it'll be fine.
  20. Anyone gonna be out like, next weekend? Want to get in one more weekend's riding, then strip down and paint the bicycle. P.S, i have a Leeson.
  21. Brilliant pics dude! Would it be possible to get a full res of this? Just for a desktop background. Sums up the weekend for me, nice n chilled! Note the fact i'm not sitting down, my anus hurt so much :$
