  1. Jesus christ, that looks insane Steve!!!! Think mine's gonna go raw with some glow in the dark bits
  2. Really can't see that lasting long! Carbon isn't exactly known for it's resistance to impact. Looks really good though, right little bunnyhopping machine!
  3. If he has closed the shop, what's gonna happen to the people who are still waiting for him to sort the orders he's f**ked up?
  4. Meh, thought they were all imperial. Evidently not!
  5. Think me and the down are gonna be riding saturday afternoon.
  6. Hose on special occasions. Muc-off on very special occasions. Bit of chain lube every month or so.
  7. Is it new? If it is, bed it in properly and clean it. If it's second hand, send it off to tarty - they'll tell you the score and sort it out for you
  8. You jammy git, Bess! Ride it well, i'm sure you will
  9. Never touched a comp in my life, but why not. Think i'll treat myself to a grind.
  10. Another vote for a Rohloff Just had to space mine out to take a wide chain. It's actually too good, keeps the chain perfectly tight and makes crankflips an absolute b*****d!
  11. Me and The Down are in, just need somewhere to sleep - make a weekend of it
  12. Nick, i could bring the frame to the ride saturday?
  13. I'd never trust him with my money. Ordered some Zoo pads, was sent Onza Lime pads. He didn't even officially stock those pads at the time! Was sent the wrong sprocket too, but he did swap that over for me within a week. This was all a good year or so ago, but it seems he's gone seriously downhill recently Only ever ordered from him once, and that was because tarty was closed over christmas. Never, ever had even the slightest problem with Tarty - the only online trials shop you need, although Selectbikes.com are very good, too, if you're looking for cheap deng stuff.
  14. Welding aluminium could prove to be fun. Good luck with it, i'd try and keep it as simple as possible, removable brake mounts sounds like a good idea, you'll have to think pretty heavily into how it'll attach, and how strong it'll be.
  15. Ignore me and my poor eyesight. Against forum rules, btw...
  16. Seeing as it's half term, i'll try and get down for that
  17. Oh right, good thinking! Word of advice though, those hubs are notorious in trials for being absolutely useless, just eat themselves and skip like a bitch. Some are ok though, it's a bit of a lottery.
  18. Welcome to the forum! Weird and wonderful requirements, huh? sounds interesting! What are your plans, kind sir?
  19. Burns on a Python, well played
  20. It will be for her, she's thick as two short planks.
