There's a HUGE ride on the 20th of July, if you're free, come along and as zhi nuts said, get the full, guided tour There's loads to ride, use your imagination! Or let us show you where everything is! Matt
Mark's post was really hard to read It's good to see how he actually felt about it all, not how the papers have made it out to be. Once again, R.I.P fella..
I've had a Zoo fixed (near enough the same, just diferent logo) for over a year and it's been mint! Only just started to get a bit rough on the bearing side of life, but thats easily fixed Only real problem (if you can call it that) is that the inside of my bolts have gone a bit rusty, but tis purely asthetic. Good hub for the price
Lots of ti, a carbon top tube, headtube like an xtp, horizontal dropouts in proper sizes (135mm presuming your stayiong stock) sexy geo, beasty gusset at the bottom of the downtube to reduce megadent, hmm i like this frame designing business
theres only one way to sort this out... FIGHT!!!!!!!! on a serious note.. stop being so immature! I know we all like a good argument but it just makes you both look a pleb! Leave it!!!!!!
Despite the weight of the echo rim, that's what alot of street riders use because of their immense strength! If you're gonna be using it for a while then get one, try-alls can get a bit raped after a few major slams. With regard to the Echo brake, they only cost a few quid more than a fully pimped magura! They have cnc'd lever body and cylinders so look better imo. A fair few of them have leaked badly, but mainly when bled with water which they aren't designed for! I used one for around a year and it was really good! Alot of people on here seem to put them down despite having never owned/ used one over a decent period of time. Matt
Better: Yes. - You can choose exactly the spec you want. Cheaper: No. - Can get very expensive! There's so much needed to build a full bike. Second hand decent builds are good, and new full builds are fairly reasonably priced imo. When building your own, you need to get EVERYTHING that will be needed to make the bike work, and if you dont budget it properly you end up with half a bike that you cant use because you ran out of money Matt. Go look on eBay unless you have the funds to buy/build a new one EDIT: just thought, could build a good bike out of second hand parts for the same amount/less than a new full build.
HAHA Muel makest me loleth. The Hydroxxes are meant to be really good frames! nice geo, light, stiff.. Anyone saying about theirs not being stiff, is it a hydroxx? If it is then fair point, but if its anything other than that its of no real use to the topic starter imo.
Does anyone remember the vid of Boon? Something like that is what scares me, uncontrollable face-merking. And the bike failure business. Here it is..
