  1. Suppose that might work but make sure that you have a piece of wood that is long lol the last thing that you want is a random piece of wood hanging around inside you frame lol. i might try that also but i dnt know yet i will have to think about it.
  2. He's got a point, you can get the internet everywhere these days, on psp's... All you need is a wireless network with the correct security settings plus on a phone you dont even need that you can connect to it anywhere and there are phones with big screens and a good processing speed although this is possible with nearly all phones these days. The price that you have to pay to you network providers would only be the same as the amount that you have to pay for the magazine and if you are on orange you can get a whole day surfing the internet for just £1.00. And when the people at tarty's are making this magazine they could be doing better things... and there prices may go up at first to pay for the initial setup of the magazine thingy (not saying it will, just thought it might). I dont see the pont my self. Hope that all made sence.
  3. Why would you want to do that. There are much better ways of learning this without a rope to a ceiling lol. No affence it's pointless.
  4. Yes that was a good post but i find that seeing how high you can go on flat land does not work as well as actually doing it on something. i think this is because you know that you have to do it and it you dont you could brake something lol. on flat land there is nothing to go for because it doesnt really matter if you do it or not. I think that the best way to learn this is start on something small like a curb and then go onto something slightly bigger and so on untill you can go up the object that you wanted to go up to start with. this way you have a goal and itmay not seem as hard as doing it straight away but then again that is just my way of doing it and what ian said may work better for you because people learn better in diffrent ways. lol
  5. wow that is not the type of thing you want to fall off onto. just grind it down like everybody else says. i think it will work
  6. suppose it is possible... i think...or wont the crank go the other way. i duno never tried it lol you can get them freewheels that are designed to go on the left... more to the point though, why would you want to, it's find where it is why change it lol
  7. your not allowed to sell in new mebers club,, sorry mate!
  8. i was trying to get one off last week but i cudnt so i took it to e bike shop. the man there cudnt do it at first but when i left it with him he got a few people to hold a chissel while he hit it with a big hammer (i wudnt like to be the one holdint the chissel just incse he missed lol) so it may be best that you take it to your local bike shop and ask them to do it. i was wondering also i have a freewheel on order and forgot to check the thread size. The thread size it mx30 is this standard or will it not fit my bike??? Thanks and i hope that helped
  9. That looks really nice.I ave never ridden one but alot of people have them and if you think about it, would alot of people have them if they arnt very good?? nope lol
  10. Hello and welcome to trials forum. I suppose it all depends on how much money you have to spend. An onza t-pro would be a good bike to start on at a good price. Tartybikes would be a good place to buy from and they also have fantastic customer survice. There are many diffrent things that you could upgrade your bike with once you have it although if you have an expensive bike you may have alot of the top parts already on the bike. Magura hs33 rim brakes are undoubtably the best brakes that you can get. They are hydraulic rim brakes, these can be found at tarty bikes. Other than that i would say that it is all about personal preferance. Try diffrent makes of products and see what you prefer. Eventually you will have a bike with all the parts that you find are th best. You could build a bike up yourself starting with a frame and put all the parts that you want on it yourself although this can get very expensive, but you will have a complete bike of your preferance. Hope this helped

  13. i use one finger when i am going to ride up something but two when i am going to go off something. just to give that extra bit of security that the brake isnt going to slip and leave me in a heep on the floor lol.

  15. i think that what he is trying to say is that you cannot laquar them becuase the surface is too shiny so it does not stick. well thats what i read it as anyway, dont knw if im right though
  16. not being nasty or out but you have spent £80 on making your bike look worse. but if it works for you then that is all that counts i suppose not getting involved or out but if that is his bike on the pic i quite like it lol.
  17. i am sure that there is another thread about the same magura. it was put up yesterday. btw it looks really nice but i think that it is too much with the braided hose. maybe just keep the black one?? just my oppinion though oohh yes here is it: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=120466

  24. i dont know but this is just a thought?.? perhaps your new bike has a diffrent freewheel that has more clicks in it so that you cannot pull the pedals back as far without it clciking. just a thought althought it's probably wrong. hope that helped
