  5. Other than riding, some sort of circut training will help with both stamina and strenghth, i would definately say no to supps there a waste of money just eat pleanty of good food, seriously ive done bodybuilding on and off for 10 years and supps are a huge waste of money nothing beats real food ( unless your an idiot and do steroids ) eat well and drink an energy drink before you ride thats all you need..
  6. Nice lil vid looked like fun but yeah buy a belt lol, what the hell is it with todays youth that they have to have there arse hanging out lmao...
  7. I'd love to enter a comp but i've no chance of getting to one unless i got a lift, as i dont drive pluss im not close to any. I think the nearest would be Yorkshire area, but id defo like to try just for the hell of it, i would'nt care if i came last or first to be honest, just think it would be a great day out and chance to meet some new people, and see in the flesh some great riders..
  8. Quite crazy stuff ive seen better yes but still good riding, my fave bit has got to be the face plant though lmao
  9. Riding a bike is the best way to find what suits you best, but in some cases myself included thats not possible. So then the next best option is to go off your size ( hight/build ) to get an idea what would suit you best, maybe post your stats on here and some of the more experienced guys could help you out...
  10. Why is everyone so sure this isnt true ? Its definatley possible that it works for someone but not others, oh and in the 90s i used raceline maguras with normal black pads on a sun mamoth smooth rim and never had any slippage. So its not a case of this works and this dosent sometimes things that dont work for you work for others. Anyway just my thoughts on the matter not ranting or anything
  11. Maybe yeah but last year there was a lad doing keepsy uppies and im sure trials is more impressive than that but atleast it might get some tv coverage
  12. Hey guys just a thought but it could get trials some airtime, was wondering if anyone fancy entering the show and doing some sort of display. It would be a way to get trials televised on a well watched tv program ? What do you guys think ?
  13. Bikeshops that know what a trials bike is my local bikeshop thought a bmx was a trials bike and diddnt understand when i tryed to explain what one was lmao
  14. Great vid great riding great fun this is to me what trials is all about good luck in Leeds
  15. My good god Ben you ride like you were born on a trials bike, you make it look effortless and pure brilliance, some super moves and lines i absolutley loved the 1st vid and the 2nd was good too but 1st defo the best. ps. whats the bike your riding it looks awsome
  16. Selling my kona to a bike shop sounds like the thing to do till my local bike shop offered me 120 quid the dumb f***ers lol
  17. Hey Pashley26 i may just take you up on that offer mate, still waiting on the sale of my Kona 1st though, as ive still only got 100 quid saved up haha, but hopefully not long before it sells its on Ad-trader northeast as of now so well see
  18. If i defo go for it then probably by the weekend, going for this as i rode a Pashley a long time ago before i gave up trials but as i say im very interested in the new style of bikes. Will be paying 299 for it..

  20. Ride a mod eeew lol no thankyou haha im strictly stock mod and 24" imo are just wrong lol, was just wondering if mod were easy to ride as watching vids they do look it
  21. Hi all, ok so ive been watching tones of trials vids recently and for some reason i seem to think mods are easy to ride. I,m not sure if its because the mod vids ive watched have great riders or that mods are indeed easy to ride, but as ive never rode a mod i can only assume from what ive watched. So could someone who has rode mods tell me if they are or arent easy to ride thanks.
  22. I like most R&B but i never listen to music when i ride i like to concentrate lol
  23. Ive never had the pleasure of choice between the two, when i rode a long time ago we used DH risers there was no trials specific bars and verry little trials specific anything to be honest. I liked to use Azonic double walled bars with a 1.5 to 2" rise i got some on my Kona now hehe, would be interesting to try some flats not sure how it would feel but back in the day we rode with whatever was available and got used to it lol, all this new trials specific stuff is strange to me im still comfortable to ride anything available and learn to like it lol..
