Hey guys thought you might be interested in this. I was asked by a company called PROVIZ - who do loads of high viz cycling gear, to go down to London last month to make a wee edit of me riding the streets of London as if I was commuting from work. The whole thing was shot at night (between 7pm and 7 am). Rain and security guards meant I didn't get the lines I wanted but I am still reasonably happy with the outcome. I know it is Pretty Cheesey but it was a fun project to do. Anyway here it is......

Hey, I am off to Stay In a place called Castellon near Valencia in Spain Tomorrow. I will be taking my bike so quite keen to get some riding done when I am out there. Has anyone visited or ridden this area before? If so any info on riders and/or spots would be much appreciated. Just found this link which I think is very close to Castellon. Anybody every been here?

I have had no clearance problem with the big betty. It is a 2.4. Out of interest who was the supplier that told you that. I cant imagine any shop other than tarty who would know anything about the frame let alone the tyre clearance.

The front brake is actually pretty good. Performance wise, it has definitely exceeded my expectations and seems similar to a hope trial. One major drawback however is the noise it makes. It is horrific. Dragging it whilst cycling around makes a very high pitch noise and when you do gaps to fronts it is so loud it is actually hurts your ears it is that loud and high pitched. I am going to change the pads and see if that does the trick. I got the big betty on chain reaction. I think i got the last 2 they had. they seem pretty hard to get hold of. I am not sure if they still make them in 24 anymore. I could be wrong though.

I have been meaning to put pics of my bike up for a few months now but didn't have a decent camera till very recently. It is the standard full build spec available from Tarty, with a couple of changes - Kenda Small Block front tyre, Scwalbe big Betty rear tyre, Trialtech stem and TNN Belaey pads. After riding mod for years I really like how it rides. Can't really fault anything on the bike! i have been riding 20 inch tubes on my 24 purely because i have loads of spares from my days on mod..works fine! lighter too!

Hey gary i am not bad cheers. how are you getting on? i don't think i have seen you since one of the bike trials at fort augustus. Yeh hopefully gonna get the bike by the weekend but i need to get a tow bar sorted for the car so i can transport the thing. Looking forward to trying something new. Not sure if i will be able to get everything sorted for the weekend now but will let you know. The next time you are in inverness you should give me a shout.

Cool a trials rider in Arran. Whereabouts on the island do you stay?there is some pretty amazing riding down in Blackwaterfoot at Drumaddoon point you should check out.
