The strength in that style crank is in the flared edges, as long as yours have this you can do this to a certain extent, it will shorten the life of the cranks but how much depends on what you drill, how much and how you ride.

Someone got to it before me, it takes away alot more metal than say shotblasting steel. If the place blasting tries hard too get the paint out of the welds they could do some serious damage.

I vaguely recall them costing in the region of 100k to 250k.. That would be a serious desk ornament that only a few would understand haha.

Ceramic plates are grippy but i see what you mean they are very very harsh. That f1 clutch may be tiny but look at how many plates it has, the surface area will be enormous.

I thought this as well seeing as a clutch that looks identical on my car has been proven too suck at anything above 100bhp...l I know its a different league but you'd expect paddle clutch at least. The lambo was so just perfect. The noble was silly and the Mclaren was a work of art, seeing how they're made makes me very intrigued.

You can pull the chip out of the old key, get a new plain key made and stick it to it, it honestly works.

I've got some tyres and cranks both useless currently. Need to completely slick the tyres and somehow get the cranks off the other bike. In other news i just bought a mint condition Marlboro Woodstock which will probably be sold.

If you want some vee brakes i have ALOT of spares, onza ones tektro ones cheap ones leavers pads galore. Just sorted mine out with a front calliper.

I sorted the hub that was enough for me haha, its gonna be tatty all over so i really dont care.

No tyres or cranks But this is what i have now, happy with the wheel especially as its made from a pack of spokes i ordered ages ago that where the wrong size.
