If it was a disk it would yes, white spirit is oil based (note it smells like spray oils, WD40 etc) any alcohol based cleaner, with no oil in it will do.

Apart from the fact i did it for you. lol. -fixed a cheap shimano mech with a twig when a bolt snapped, just to get home. -used 10mm chain tugs with cutdown echo bolts allowing me to use QR with horizontal dropouts. -used 2 cable ends instead of a v brake noodle, supprisingly it worked for about 6 months. -oversized bearings from an unsealed hub used in a hub with normal sized bearings. -headset bearings rebuilt with hub bearings. -allen key bolts used as rotor bolts. -1mm to big bolt used as SD7 lever bolt. loads more when i can think of them.

Wizard II is even better. I acctually like the single pickup, for looks anyway. When the strat finally arrives, has the custom work done etc. it'll have some dimarzio stacked humbuckers so that'll be my main player.

I'd concider an ibanez if i was you, depending on how much you have, in comparison to the low end strats and epiphones a low end ibanez will kill them when it comes to heavy stuff. i mean my ibanez cost £300 has the neck of some of the £1000+ and a seymour duncan blackout pickup.

How would i go about drilling an undrilled rim (apart from the obvious drilling bit) What drill bit would i need? doesnt matter on the size but i have no idea what variety of bit i need. Is there anyway to keep the holes central? Or is it all guesswork as such? Thanks, Davey.
