yer the splines are in slightly different positions and slightly different sizes if your using howitzer cranks on your bike (bad move) it'll be fine.

You need to be in a similar position to when back hoping, pre load on your pedals with front wheel on the air, let go on the rear brake and kick forward 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn while in the air get control of the brake again. once you land featherthe brake so you dont slam into the floor. similar for gaps.

No not really, although stu will try tell you otherwise, i've been using koxx reds on my rear maggy only for a short time (now gone dual disk), They worked really nicely, not much modulation but lots of hold and good bite. soon to report on dual disk set up, but my front BB5 is far better than any BB7 i've used.

Ha ha i am? there good similer geo to higher range bikes and can take a beating, deffinatley a good upgrade from your t-vee. If its got reasonably good spec you can swap frames once your getting better with it. apart from that be careful with the bash mounts, mine didn't have them (removed) but they can dig into / crack the frame. Although even if you do crack the frame it will take alot to stop the bike being rideable, they are pretty tanklike.
