  1. Unlike a magura which has plastic seals the echo had metal ones and will corode and leak and completley kill the brake, so yeh oild for a deng brake m8. Adam (A)
  2. I think its an 05 my friends had an 06 and it dousn't look like this really :\ So yeah i'm going to say 05 Adam

  6. 06 t-pro and magura , but maggy has new slaves. Adam
  7. I do practise on my own but only in the garden or near my house, i feel a bit silly on my own getting hackies from people near by especially if i am smashing a wall accidentally. Group rides i prefer as i get pushed more and its good to have people to talk to when riding, and its good to learn from others to improve your moves and style. Adam
  8. cnc echo's are stronger than the forged ones. The forged ones get easily masged up on walls when u bash them etc ... and the cnc'd ones seem to be .... tougher. Also isis are much better than square taper, the isis splines last loads longer and the square taper can be rounded off quickly if they are not tight enough. Adam
  9. I am truly jealous of you for having that frame, i would love an onza pro frame. Adam
  10. Yes i did it yesterday, i was happened alot to me when i was practesing sidehops. I was doin it subconciously though and as soon as i noticed i was doing it i lost balance and had to cerection hop But it feels amazing and makes riding look so much more smoothly. Has already been said but Damon Watson every side hop he does is exactly like this. Adam
  11. They are built to be extemley light and to be ridden very smoothly and carefully. My friend has got one and its nice, but he has snapped his forks and has recentley cracked his frame in two different places. However he said the warrenty on the frame is very good, i think its around about 2 years warrenty he said. But as people have said already a 26" bike would be a bit more of an idea the 231 Monty Kamel maybe ? Adam
  12. They meen that the freewheel will tighten up as you ride it, because ffw are designed with oposite threads so they don't come loose from the pedalin motion Adam
  13. They not the same, they might look it but the geo and stuff can be completley different sumtimes. Also they are made of different materials which are stronger, like the kamel is made of a fairly weak aluminium to b light weight and the neon will be much stronger as it will be a heavier aluminium. Adam(Y)
  14. It makes no difference which foot is forward. It can help to be able to do both but right foot is fine. The way i ride too Adam
  15. It sounds like your pawl springs are dead, you can probably buy new ones and fit them. But don't buy anything until you deffianatley know whats wrong just in case Adam
  16. Yes i didnt make last time , but will come on Thursday don't know if Shieldzy will be going or not though, and Andy from Darlo will come with me i'll ask Northallerton again see if they will this time. Adam
  17. Never really had anything bad, and never will touch wood. I have bottled from a drop when i was just starting and jumped off bike slipped wen i landed on the floor and then the bike bounced up and hit me in the head, was bleeding everywhere, i know to wear a helmet now though . Also doing a gap i have pulled my back fairly badly couldnt ride properly for 2 weeks. Adam
  18. Nice vid Class riding there !! Was supposed to go to Newcastle but bike was broken was gutted i missed it Adam
  19. Water is fine it freezes just bring it inside for 5 minutes and it will unfreeze. Then just make sure you keep the brake moving all day until the temperature warms up. Anti-freeze eats away at hosing and seals :\ Adam
  20. Can't get kicked off a trials park and it would be made to a good standard if there wer plans and measurments. Adam
  21. Personally i think it's best to get the technique on all the moves you do correctly, and then start adding more power to the moves naturally you will start goin bigger anyway Adam
  22. I was supposed to ride that weekend but i snapped me chain week before and I didn't have a new one by then. It's sorted now though i'll be going tot he next ride in Newcastle i love it there Adam
  23. The forks are supposed to be that shape !! They are CURVED forks.
  24. You have learnt very quickly !! It took me about 2 weeks without having my own bike, i learnt on my mates. Well done for learning this quickly, now you can backwheel hop you will quickly get alot better Keep up the practise Adam
