As said helicoil , but as for a tempory bodge - one of the bolts stripped on my mates bike, so he went and got a cable tye and then he fastened it around the mount where it was loose it worked quite well for the day Remember my mates was only one bolt that had stripped. Adam

It is a quick release wheel though ! Shoulda locked it through the spokes tis what i would do. Sad to hear mate sounds a very nice wheel good luck with getting it back :\ Adam

I had the same problem once It will most probably be that you have very lazy pistons. If you look on the wiki it tells you how to fix "lazy pistons". There is that option or some new pistons which are about £15 each on tarty bikes I think. I managed to get some free off one of my mates XD because he was just going to throw his brake in the bin Adam

People i ride with have said that the new trialtechs have almost exactly the same rise as the old zoo!'s so i would say trialtechs are the way to go Adam

To be honest i think that as long as the disc is perectly working and the magura is perfectly set up and working neither will be any better over each other. A magura are usually much quicker than a disc though. Adam

When running front freewheel you will want an 18 tooth freewheel with a 12 tooth rear sprocket thats the standard mod gearing Adam

I think removable brake mounts sounds a fairly bad idea, sorry, maybe just do 4bolt and disc mounts ? Then design a vee brake adaptor your a level though so up to you what to do Adam

Mod standard gearing is 18 tooth freewheel on front, and 12 tooth sprocket round back, run that and you will be fine Adam
