God I hate the little add thing that is on your album page. Someone has a crush on you....Hope that's not why I keep getting emails from that same company...F***ng Spam box is always full

There is a search function. In the random small questions you will also find your answers. Always Always search for your question unless you like people being rude to you. Have a great day.

Looks great, and it sound as if everyone agrees. Seeing as how no one has said change this or that I would say it's perfect as long a YOU think so...

It says you are in London, you should have no problem finding a bike to have a go on. That's your best bet for making an educated decision. My opinion would not mean much, when it's you who will be riding the bike. Consider yourself lucky that you live in an area full of trials riders, take full advantage of the opportunity to try some different options before you buy IMO. And you seem to fall in that nice could go big bike or little bike size. Welcome to a great new sport

I jump the gap without the bike, then pick the bike up and make it move the way I want it to move for the gap-helps me with visualization- then give it a go on the bike. Kinda lame but moving the bike across the gap-if you can reach from ground- help me tons.

May I ask why you want to take the paint off, and I assume not use a grinder? Going for a smooth but not painted rim?
-
Could be worse. It has been over 100 F every day. Doesn't drop below 90f until like midnight. I would say get wet, the nice thing about being human is that we all come water-proofed from the factory.

This seems to be a pointless debate, seeing as how no one has reviewed one yet. I would say that people must have felt the same way about King components at one time. King's are not always the lightest, but people seem to line up to shell out big money for quality parts. I think that in Trials, like LIFE, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately that doesn't apply if they have not been proven. My real question is why are there no bench tests, to show the strength of products? Most industries test there products for durability in the early stages of development. Seems that smashing a rim with a controlled press, and comparing results between rims would be a standard practice.

Never transact with anyone from Nigeria. There banking laws where written by the same ass wipe that just tried to scam you. But you should definitely send poo, I would say post collect with the return address for someone you don't like.

Tonsillitis - Anyone Had It As An Adult And Had Their Tonsils Removed?
ti-mig-guy replied to Mr Plod's topic in Chit Chat
Had mine yanked 2 years ago. Not to bad, just couldn't eat solid food for a week. On the bright side the pain killers where the best ever. It was a outpatient thing for me, didn't have to stay over night. If you have not taken a lot of antibiotics they should do the trick. I had it (the infection) about a dozen times that year before they decided to cut them out (or is it a singular it?) Gargle with salt water several times a day-like 10- that's the only trick I learned. It will help you to get well quicker. And yes adult onset is rare, but not unheard of. Good luck, oh and forget about spicy food-that will burn your tonsils and hurt like hell. -
Seeing as how mp3 and camera options on phones suck ass, I went a different direction. I got a Casio rugged phone. These phones don't offer tons of bells and whistles, but you can chuck it at a wall and it's fine. Also it is water resistant, I dropped mine in a lake, had to dive for it and it still works. It takes reasonable pics, but they do not offer a mp3 player in the states, but perhaps there they do. If you want a phone that will last ages look into them, if you want a fancy, impress your buddies phone, then by all means those phones look shiny and bling bling-ish, but I have no idea about the function-ability of your choices.

I got a cup and tried it. Worst idea ever. Can't peddle without causing a rub. Then after about an hour the rub turned into a bloody mess. Very lame. Never try it!

How Many Trials Riders Smoke Weed ?
ti-mig-guy replied to joey vajda's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
90% of the weed smoked in the states is regionally grown, and in my area legal! I understand that most of you think that Americans are backwards, but there are some states offering a medical license to grow and smoke. The medical research that has been done on weed is way more in depth then any other drug. There has been no legitimated connection made between "vaporising" and cancer. So if it's for you think about changing from splifs and pipes to a nice vaporizer. This negates the health risk 99%. So unless you choke on the bag you will be fine. As for you who declare it's horrid and dangerous, perhaps you intended to type beer or alcohol, not weeds. Hundreds of people die every year from alchahol related accidents. Who ever heard of a weed overdose. Or "I got so blazed I creamed a kid in a crosswalk, never even saw him"? -
I use a piece of plastic PVC pipe, cut in half, then zip tied on. CHEAP!

Actually the graffiti reference is well interesting. Good point.

Hijacking this thread a little, BUT Whats UNI? People refer to going to it, and working for it?

I would start by looking in the area at other schools. If there are not too many, and not too few, then it may be a good thing. Too few would mean there is no profit in it, too many may mean the theres no room for you. Would it be 100% private money, or does the government get involved? The cost of insurance, I expect, will be high. And how do you get it accredited so that students can get credits transfered to a grade school. My brother runs a school, k-7, in Fiji, and it has been an uphill battle to get accredited. Some of his students have had issues transferring to other schools. There is an opportunity to do something great here, I would say it could be very rewarding emotionally, even if you don't get rich.

I am talking about the time table involved. When you take into account that there is about 5 hours of full dark in the UK in the summer, and farmers are keeping an eye out for vandals, the time is short. For the Tripple Julia set the math is astounding. The average amount of time available for each circle is 1.15 minutes, thats fast. Even if they had staked it all out (that would leave holes, and they are not there) this would be to fast. No doubt people could do it, but I don't think it could be done so fast. When a team used surveying equipment in the full sun, it took 4 people 12 hours to plot the points on paper. It took over 120 points of reference to lay it out. I do agree that there are ton of "fake" crop circles, but there are some that seem to good to be fake.
-
From a plane, pretty sure they would have been seen. In one hour it would be hard to complete it 100%, that's my point. Too fast, to be made by man, and too perfect to be done in time. That image I linked sucked, but Google image is loaded with others.
-
For the record, I am not sure either. I think they are interesting, and wanted to start a thread that "I" found interesting. I am sure you could draw it, but the point was the time it would consume. If you consider the circle that was discovered next to Stonehenge http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~pppf6/Resear...gif/7july96.gif A pilot flew over Stonehenge in the morning with tourists, they took pictures, clearly showing a lack of crop circle. Then pilot flies back over 1 hour later and discovers it. There was many tourists, guards, and ground keepers, as well as drivers on the highway. No one reported anything unusual. This happened during the day. So do I think little green men flew around and made it, NO. But something or someone did.
-
Oh you I am sure they used ropes and ladders to construct the first recorded circle in 513BC.... And the geometrical codes in them are way complex for the times. When the first ones popped up, the geometric designs where only known by a very small percentage of the world population. http://www.sott.net/signs/images/posters/sott_circles.jpg Those are way to complex to be man made. If we could do that with a rope ladder and a plank, it still leaves the question of who made the patterns and how did they scale them up to full size? If you think they are fake, grab a pencil ruler and anything else you think will help, and try to make a drawing of one. If you could draw it, accurately, in one night I would be amazed. Then you need to figure out how to weave the down stalks together to form intricate patterns.
-
So has no one heard that there are molecular changes in genuine crop circles? The mineral crystalline structure is altered permanently. Also there have been circles in Canola fields, and the stalks are way to brittle to be bent and not break. Then the fact that the crops still mature...
-
So I have been reading a book on crop circles. Seems 85% of the crop circles ever found have been in the UK. So my question is, have any of you personally seen any? Have you personally taken any pictures, or have any stories about them? Glowing lights in a field perhaps? There is 0 media coverage for such non political news here. I did a search and was a little surprised to find no topics on it. So if there is a thread feel free to point me in that direction.

Look at the font. Both sets have an interesting bump in the top of the N. Looks real to me-but I can't say anything about the internals. Logo is spot on-that would be a pain in the ass to set up. If someone is making fakes this good, I think we would have all heard about it by now. The investment required would dictate that they sell tons of headsets, and most likely other King components IMO.

Did you get his real name, address or anything? If all you have to go by is his user name, and address-you said you mailed it to him, then it may be kinda rough. If you have a name and address I believe you could take him to court, but you received the frame-I assume used- and there was most likely no guarantees given. If you received it cracked, or not at all, it would be different, but you broke it after you bought it. He is probably not obligated to refund you. Sounds like you have just learned your first lesson in online transactions-always get a copy of there real government issued ID. How much did you spend on the frame?
