  1. Having just got my bike working properly, I'm seriously considering taking it down to uni with me to ride down to lectures and wherever else I find lol. It will only be left for a few hours at a time, however I need to first buy a suitable bike lock, by that, I mean a decent one. Can anyone recommend a good bike lock? Cheers
  2. I know it's a long shot but they still stock some (older) Zoo! stuff. Bought a black lever blade not so long ago as Tarty only had minging gold ones........so they do have some stuff lol. Probs worth giving them a bell tomorrow
  3. Having recently bought an 06 CLS Python, I planned on buying the sticker set off Selectbikes to bring it back to it's former glory but, the site won't let me add them to the basket? I know it's a fairly old product but it's still listed on the site and has a code number.....just wondered if anyone knew whether or not Select still stock them or, knew where I could get my hands on some if they dont stock them? Sorry for the long winded post, just annoying lol.
  4. +1, I've heard good things about the Monty eagle claw. Will have mine fitted tomorrow and will report what it's like. Should be interesting to see how much of a difference there is to Maxxis creepy's.........
  5. Recently bought some TrialTech foams, they're the last grips you'll ever need!
  6. I've just bought some Heatsink Yellows; what do people find to be the best set up regarding grind for them?
  7. Are those Onza Muscleman cranks? If so, I'd change them as well Other than that, look's good.
  8. This guy speaks the truth, Eno's are super reliable
  9. Just pick which colour you like the best? After all, it'll be your bike.........
  10. Hi, I don't have a 20" GU Typhoon but was looking for one, however, managed to pick up a Craig Lee Scott Python dirt cheap. I only posted as you said you wanted a short mod. Typhoons are always on the longer end of the wheelbase scale :P

  11. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DMR-V12-MAGNESIUM-TI...id=p3286.c0.m14 You'll have to see what the bidding goes like, if it doesn't go mad, it's worth it for the axles alone......... You thought about changing rim tape, assorted ti bolts etc?
  12. Echo SL headset? Echo SL hub and dremel the rim to make it single walled? Wellgo/DMR magnesium pedals (with ti axles, ebay...) FSA Platinum bb? Hope I've helped
  13. +1, The splined cog's are also a doddle to change as well
  14. +1, I run Zoo! riser bar's on an Echo stem (an 09 one) on my mod and it feels way better than equivalent flat's. You should be able to find some cheap Zoo!'s on here, if not, the TrialTech ones always seem to get good review's and are the same, if not very similar geo???
  15. ^^^^ I agree mostly, with a bit of tar they are quite bitey and make a lower pitched honk, however, they do work well with a grind but it has to be sharp to be effective (which gives a higher pitched aggressive honk ) the bite and hold is pretty good. I'm currently running these pads as I got them cheap on eBay (£3.50 inc p+p see link) ''Trialsmanshop'' should have them listed on auction on eBay soon...... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PLAZMATIC-LTD-HS33-B...id=p3286.c0.m14 ^^^^ That auction has ended, but more should be listed soon . Hope I have helped, Zach.
  16. Are the limited edition coloured backings going to be the same price as normal ones?
  17. Yep, get the Trialtech clicky. I've had mine for a while now and havn't had any problems, it's really smooth, just keep an eye on the crank bolts......
  18. Hi, seen as your wheels are only 3 weeks old it seems a bit daft replacing them, if I were you I would look to invest in a HS33 for the rear (along with evo mounts) as this will aid your riding and help you improve further, rather than a new set of wheels . Also it would definately be worth investing in a better freewheel that you could fit to the rear hub, or buy some new cranks+BB+sprocket and convert to a FFW setup? ......but if you do decide to buy a new set of wheels, I personally would avoid bright coloured rims as I think wheels look far more stylish and understated if they are black or silver. I had a set built up compremising of Silver Echo 07 rims, Black Hope Pro2 disk hub, Black Echo fixed hub, Black spokes+nipples and Black rim tape. I think they look good as the hub/spokes/nipples blend in together but the silver rims bring out the black rim tape. Hope this helps .
  19. Sorry, forgot to add, if anyone has the link to the Eno service guide that would be great :$. Once again, thanks.
  20. Hi guys, having recently snapped my onza bottom bracket, I am in need of a replacement. The Trialtech square taper bottom bracket on Tartybikes here http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=100 sounds good but I was wondering if anybody has had any issues with these, like seals/reliability/strength? Leading on from this, It seems like a good idea to service my Eno freewheel while I wait for a bottom bracket to arrive but having used the search function, I cannot for the life in me find the step by step guide to servicing an Eno freewheel I remember seeing a while back. Thanks Zach.
